We visited this hidden gem on our last night and very nearly missed it, it's not the easiest restaurant to find but well worth the effort to find, we didnt book and thought we would be turned away as every table was taken at 7.30 on a sunday evening, worth booking just in case. They confirmed a table would be available in 5mins and advised us to look around the adjoining museum. Our german was very limited and the waitresses couldn't have been more accommodating and arranged for a colleague to sit with us for 5/10 mins running through the menu in english, he even apologised for his American twang he had picked up, we could not believe how kind, welcoming and considerate all the staff were to make our experience a pleasant one. The food was beautifully presented and was simply gorgeous. It would not matter what you ordered in this restaurant it would all be of a high quality and judging by how packed it was no one leaves disappointed. The ambience was very traditional. Make sure you go!
