“Best holiday we've had”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2014

me and my fiance went to this hotel in Sept 2013 and after reading some of the reviews i was very nervous, this being my 1st time to Turkey. Must say, ignore the bad reviews and go and see for yourself. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were really nice with fully working air con which was much appreciated in 36C heat, very clean and towels changed everyday. one of our light bulbs was off and the patio door was a bit stiff to close but they the only negatives. 2 large pools and plenty of sunbathing with pool bar. really good laugh by the pool during the day when the entertainment team come out at intervals to play games. There was once or twice we struggled to get a lounger but we just went for a walk or boat trip and there was free ones when we came back. Food was plenty, there was a wide variety for all nations and tastes. sometimes had to queue for drinks but nothing major. snack bar was basic but what do you want?? there was enough to fill you and we only ate out a few nights. Recommend dianes steak bar just down the road for good english breakfasts for 2 lira and cheap cocktails also decent food, also good entertainment. The hotel isnt right in the centre of marmaris, its about a 20 min walk to the harbour but you can hop on a dolmus for 2 lira and a taxi was only about 15 lira. Theres a lovely lounge pub with outdoor bean bag beds and 4 posters if you walk from hotel and head straight down to the sea front its the 1st pub on the left on the seafront its great atmosphere and good entertainment. we had a fantastic holiday overall and met some lovely people. all the turks were really friendly and the turkish bath in the hotel is amazing, better than the day trip turkish bath. 1 point i will say if you get discs of photo's from any activities, check they are yours on the nearset computer before you leave turkey as we got home and one of our discs were a random couple. try the jet skis too they are lots of fun as was the mug buggy day trip. would definitely go again, already saving!

I visited this hotel 2 years ago with my grown up children and a grandson,we were a little nervous after reading some reviews at the time, the 10 days we stayed flew past and we wished we could have stayed longer
My grandson's normally a fussy eater but I don't think he skipped a meal and ate everything we plated up for him...result!
The entertainers got everyone involved....unlike some hotels where they target youth involvement
only
This time I'll be travelling solo and cant wait until 31st march
had a pool view last time...I'd be delight to have a pool facing room again

Me and my friend stayed here from October 27th 2013. Went fearing the worst after reading the reviews but apart from the food being abit plain at times overall we were really pleased with our stay and will be returning in may. The room was lovely. Nice big beds.the hotel staff are great especially Jay he really gets you involved and works hard to ensure u have a good time.made lots of friends at pineta and will be returning.

I stayed in this hotel last summer, I thought it was a lovely hotel with wonder staff and holiday makers. I stayed in a twin doubled room and it was very nice and spacious, I defiantly recommend a room with a pool view. Its very close to local bars, shops and the local bus stop which can take you into Marmaris city centre. Great for family holidays, entertainment all day long. Food is nice and enjoyable but as always in most inclusive hotels it can get boring and repetitive, however many beautiful restaurant are walking distance away.

Room Tip: Room with pool view

The hotel is lovely some of the staff could be abit more happy but most are lovely especially the bar girl rabia and the entertainers! Hotel is not as bad people are making out if your expecting 5* this is not for you but if your not too picky you'll be fine great location and rabia ls cocktails atlre the best:-) only think that let down this hotel was room not been ready when we arrived! Just go with an open mind and you'll love it! We really enjoyed it and are looking to go bk ;)

Do not waste your money or consider stopping here. I stopped herefor l0 nights at the start of September. Was not Impressed at all. When reading bad reviews now I can honestly relate to every single one from hotel food to bad staff attitudes, rooms not ready on arrival or waiting 2 days to get sorted, I could go on. Honestly please do yourself a favour, If you are reading reviews and considering stopping here, you will be dissapoiated. Do not ruin a good holiday, stay well clear or this place. All the reviews and what people say are true and spot on therefore l don't need to repeat what others are saying about this bum 2 star hotel

Our stay at the Pineta was great, the hotel itself was really clean and tidy and the staff we're really helpful and friendly. It's easy to spend the whole day at the hotel because they have it all, Turkish baths, gym, hairdresser, tattooist, pools, sauna, steam room and the food they do is really good also. I other peoples reviews before going and I was worried that the food wasn't going to be very good but I found it was more than satisfying. They changed the food every night for both dinner and lunch and I found the food was pretty healthy as well. The guy that organises the excursions was fantastic, he organised all our days out and he was really helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly for us, he made it nice and easy so we didn't have to worry an out anything which is exactly what you want when on holiday.

Room Tip: Rooms on the left hand side when you walk in can be a little noisy at night but it doesn't last...
