“Basic but comfortable, out to rip you off at every opportunity!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2010

Me and my boyfriend stayed at these apartments 6th - 13th Sept 2010 - The apartments were comfortable and clean enough but in a week the towels and sheets were only changed once, and if you happen to have a family in the apartment above or either side you're pretty knackered for sleep because as soon as they are awake,so are you! It's like they are in your apartment with you, extremely thin walls!

We booked self catering and were told by a very rude, jumped up 12 year old that we weren't allowed to bring any food or drink to the pool area, we had to buy from their bar... even though i bought the water at the hotel Reception!! Also there are lilo's and floats by the pool that guests have left previously and they won't let you use them, instead they want you to buy them from them for 10 lira!??

Our aircon cost us £25 for the week and the safe was another £15, if you have a night flight then your check out time is 12:00 midday and it costs £30 to keep the room on for another 8 hours... just book an extra day at the start for between £6-£8 on whatever website you are booking through instead, wish we'd thought ahead!

If you are looking for nightlife then i would say this hotel is too far out, you can get a dolmus before midnight into Marmaris Centre and Bar Street but it took us 3 days to figure out which ones went where! If you walk to bar street or the beach it is a good half hour walk and prepare to be sweaty when you arrive! If you think you'll just get taxi's they are expensive too, 17 lira from these apartments to the bazzar near the harbour/beach and bar street, about £9... for the distance it'd be about a fiver here in england. The Taxis are all double fare after midnight and if they think you are too drunk to notice you might even get charged triple.

Love Turkey, Loved Marmaris but i would never stay here again... Morat, is lovely, the only good thing about this hotel.

We have never been looked after so well !! from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. Our apartments were lovely and clean. The maid regularly changed our bedding and towels and made our bed look so pretty with lovely arrangements made with towels and fresh flowers.
The staff made us feel very welcome and made very good friends with them. We have never laughed so much.
The food was great, lovely and fresh. The swimming pool was clean. the location of the hotel is about 10 minutes away from the beach.
All in all a great holiday. So much so we have booked 3 more holidays staying at Mustis. :)
We just want to also say "thankyou Dragon,Chef, Murat, Hakan and Apu for everything" see you guys very very soon". xxx

We have just arrived back today from a week staying in the Musti Family apartments. We arrived in the early hours of last Monday morning and to be fair for the price we paid the first impressions were quite good. We stayed on the fourth floor which is at the top of the building. Unfortunately there was no lift so we had a week of climbing up and down the staoirs in 100 degree plus heat which is not much fun.. On arrival the room was like a sweat box and when we enquired about AC we were told we had to pay £25 per week plus £15 per week for a safe. We could not live without the AC so had to pay it. It was only in the morning daylinght that we realised the stte of the accomodation. The 'white' towels that were supplied were actually grey and badly stained as was the bedding. There was only 1 small cover on the bed which both of us had to share. The towels were only changed as we demanded that they were changed as they were so filthy but the ones they replaced them with were still stained and still brown which made us feel sick. We ended up buying towels from the local shops to add to the ones we had brought from home. We also demanded that they changed the bed sheets as it was very hot and sticky at night - They did this but replaced the greying stained sheets with a greying sheet that did not fit the bed properly and had lots of rips in. The bathroom was dirty and the shower was so small you dont have room to move. Not that it really mattered anyway - only 1 night over the entire week I was there there was actually hot water. The pool was absolutely filthy and we didnt adventure into it at all - scared that we would catch something. The beach was about a 20minute walk away - but the staff at reception will tell you that its a 5 minute walk. The staff were rude and obnoxious and could noot be bothered to even speak to you in passing. There was hardly anyone ever on reception so you had to help yourself to your key behind the counter - obviously anyone could help themselves to any key there so it really wasnt safe. When there were staff behind the reception counter they were children (under 10) who sat playing on the internet so you could not use it yourself
We cant really comment too much on the pool bar as my partner only visited it once briefly and was disguseted to see that the staff were collecting all the half drunk bottles of water which were left around the pool, and then topping other bottles up and then putting them back in the fridges and re-selling them to other guests. Needless to say he didnt get go back!
We were quite lucky in the fact we had some friends who had an apartment down by the beach which we spent most of our time at their apartment instead.
Mustis was a truely awful place.
Would I go back to Marmaris - Yes
Would I stay at the Musti apartments again? - Not in a million years if they paid me all the money in the world.

I had booked this holiday with Teletext through JETLINE-do not ever book with this company. We arrived at Mustus and although we had paid for seven nights we only stayed for six. We had booked a double room and were given two single beds. When this was brought to attention-we had to pay, pay, pay.
On our last day we waited for the transfer to collect us and it was thirty mins late. We called at the hotel reception and we were told that we missed our flight-no one was collecting us(although our flight tickets showed it was leaing at five-they still went on to say we missed it after checking the internet). Hotel reception confirmed this and said we need to book another flight and pay them for a taxi to airport £100.00! Needless to say we did'nt take them up on this and got a taxi straight to the airport. Our flight was very much there and had we been ten minutes late; we would have missed it. No one helped or cared-it was all pound signs and not regard for people and how upset we were. We have now complained and asked for our monies back and we were told-not my problem.
We were treated really badly and there was a big mistake through no fault of our own that the hotel and transfer comapny made utter hell for us. I would not recommend this place or the company jetline as I was informed sixty people were taken to the airport sixteen hours before there flight-through this cockup

me and my family have just got back from mustis apartments less than a week ago and fro that moment we had nothing but trouble. when we arrived after a ong day of traveling we didnt have the correct rooms. me my partner and son hed a 1 bedroom apartment which was fine. my sister, her husband and 3 under 5 kids had a studio with no seperate bedroom as did my mum and her to young foster boys. it took them 3 days to fing my mum another room as the one she needed was occupied. the rooms are very basic, the shower is tiny and find it hard to move about it also the water runs cold and very hot which i find dangerous. you r giving a key to get elecricity when entering the room and everytime we removed out key to go out our frezzers defrosted and we came home to a large puddle of water and this is also dangerous as we all had young kids. my mum was washing clothes in the kitching sink and all of a suden the sink fell out of the cupboard pouring water everywhere. there was no evening entertainment at the aprtments which ment we had to go out every night to entertain the kids. it cost £50 (not TL) for air condidtioning for 2 weeks and £25 per week i found this terrible as it should be included i the price for the apartment. although there was plenty wrong with the apartments the staff where great. i wouldnt return the these apartments but i ould deffinetly return the marmaris.
