If you are ever in the area this is a nice hotel for a short stay.
the rooms have been re-furbished to a nice standard, and generally are quite large.
Would have liked an in room, mini-bar if only for soft drinks.
i have eaten at the restaurant on several occasions and have been impressed by the food, wine and level of service.
I found the staff very helpful.
The location is central for a walk in the town in the evening.

This hotel was recommended by a work associate (and it later turned out we have a company rate...hotel staff was kind enough to tell me!). I was going to stay in Barcelona but did not want to deal with the traffic. Checked in late due to delayed flights so had not too much time to check out shopping district in Granollers (right outside hotel) until the next evening. Hotel was very clean. HOWEVER, the room I had was not one of the newly renovated rooms you see pictured on the website. No mater, the room was clean, well appointed for a European hotel (slippers, phone, wifi, "proper" overhead shower spray!). Staff spoke littel English but definitely enough to get by. Had a beer at the bar and breakfast twice (included in my rate)..."older" bar/restaraunt gents did not speak English...no matter. Beer was good and breakfast was filling and fresh. Room was located on the courtyard which was very quiet when the, what seemed to be a thousand birds, were NOT chirping all at once! Carried on until about 9:30 (sunset) and started up at about 5:30 am! Not a big deal and much better than street noise. Staff was accomodating when calling a taxi which must have a stand around the corner as it was always waiting for me by the time departed the hotel every morning. Will definitely stay here again

We had dinner here on our first night in Granollers, and I must say that we were all fairly disappointed.

It's a lovely looking restaurant, right near the city centre, but the service and food let it down.

We were a group of 5 and two of our party didn't order a starter - the staff bought their mains with our starters, so they were left with empty spaces when we were eating our mains. Not that it really mattered, because the staff came and snatched the plates away from whoever had finished, regardless of who was still eating. It became a bit of a hotch potch of starters and mains, with plates being removed and new plates being delivered with no sort of order.

I started with the rather disgusting sounding Mashed Potatoes with Egg and Pan Drippings - but it was actually really lovely. For main I ordered Roast Duck with Fig, which came with absolutely no figs, but a mixture of strawberries, blue berries and raspberries - the remains of the breakfast compote? It was okay, but nothing outstanding.

None of us could be bothered with desserts and left shortly after finishing - there was no real atmosphere and the staff were very haphazard.

Honestly, go to Cala Sila right next door and you'll really enjoy yourself (as we discovered on our next night).

I was there for 1 night on business trip. The hotel is very well located downtown Granollers. Shopping and other activities are just out of the hotel. The style is local old charm house and the rooms have been refurbished in a nice modern style and are confortable. The price is good. Worthy have a stay.
