Interesting experience. A swimming, sauna and wellness centre with an indoor scuba diving pool.
I only used the diving centre so I can't comment on the other facilities. In general, the facilities are clearly a few years old and in need of some updating in places. Changing areas are fairly basic.
The dive pool is 10 meters deep and approximately 2 million litres of water. They have tried to make it interesting with different environments at various levels in the pool. Inevitably, it's a small area and so good for practicing your dive skills in a safe, controlled enviroemt. However, there is not much to keep you entertained after 10 or 20 minutes.
It was popular and busy on a Saturday afternoon with everything from dive classes to technical divers. Sometimes it was difficult to find a free space in the pool.
The staff were helpful and friendly. It's decent value for money with unlimited air and weights included in the price.
All in all a bit of fun and somewhere to go and practice your dive skills if youre not a hard core diver and you don't fancy the North sea or a lake somewhere in the winter.
