This was our second time staying in Aultre Naray. The first time in 2003, was so memorable that we came back again for the exact occasion....New's Years Eve. I have to say, we were weary that we would experience the same hospitality, family environment, and personal service that we did that year. Inaki and Susana did not disappoint us. We had a FABULOUS 3 day stay. The place did not change at all, as a matter of fact I think it got better. We stayed in the family suite. The place only has 10-12 rooms. It is a rusticae (meaning, in is a rural area). It is peaceful, has picturesque mountain views,a fireplace, game room, reading areas, bar, restaurant, one large great room that has a fantastic view of the mountains, a smaller sitting area, and patio and garden areas. The environment is family friendly and the personal attention to detail and comfort is wonderful. Inaki was always pleasant and willing to help in any way. The house was great to come back to after viewing the amazing sites that asturias has to offer. There was always music playing when you walked in and Inaki knew how to offer the personal attention of a friend but the service of a hotel. You can shower, change, and come down to the sitting areas to read, have a drink, meet knew people from other places and forget that you are in a hotel. The house is decorated beautifully and the food was fabulous. Susana took pride in meals that were prepared, as she did in presenting them. My husband and I are big foodies, and we were very pleased with the dinners. They always served up typical foods of the region and Inaki surprised us with his "Pacharan" (a traditional aniseed liquor) that he make personally. I continue to mention the "house" and not hotel, because if you like a small better than b&b type of stays, than this is the place for you. This little hotel open up our eyes to a whole line of more personal type service hotels. Now we only stay in these type of hotels. I have only good things to say about this little gem in Peruyes. Great food, Great people, Beautiful town, Great memories......again.
