My fiancée had a simply wonderful stay here, the place is flawless and tastefully decorated with antiques the inn keepers have locally sourced as well as from all over the world.

The room was very comfortable, and spacious. The renovations the owners have made were well executed with thoughtful upgrades. Make it a point to check out the marina building as well.

The poppy seed bread is great for breakfast, but the whitefish for dinner is not to be missed. Don’t stay indoors the whole time; the inn is situated in a very beautiful corner of the world.

Room Tip: Just say you saw the reviews on Trip Advisor ;)

My girlfriend and I had a lovely weekend here. We enjoyed the outdoors and had a great time hiking and biking (we didn't expect to have such lovely weather so the hosts were kind enough to lend us their bicycles). It's a great place to get away from it all, while still having the comforts of home. The hosts were very welcoming, the food was excellent and the views were spectacular. We will be recommending this spot and will be returning every year for sure. Thank you Shirin and Bob.

We made a trip out to Meldrum Bay from a cottage in central Manitoulin and were not disappointed. We had an excellent lunch and were welcomed warmly. We would recommend including the Inn as part of a scenic drive to the nearby lighthouse historical site and the village of Gore Bay.

I have to confess that the Georgian Bay and the North Channel are 2 of my favourite places in the world. We were therefore thrilled to find this jewel of hospitality and taste (in both senses of the word). We were booked for one night and came back for a second ! Both rooms and all of the common spaces are beautifully appointed with Shirin's personal touches. It is truly like staying over in someone special's 'guest' room. The kitchen is excellent...the fresh whitefish was extraordinarily delicious, the smiles and the 'home away from home' commitment... truly genuine ! We immediately understood why 75% of their business is returning guests... we are already trying to find an excuse to go back soon !

Room Tip: Views of the North Channel ... wonderful.

The Meldrum Bay Inn is about 45 minutes drive from where I live on Manitoulin Island, and my wife and our 5 kids have always been thrilled by the food and atmosphere of the restaurant ever since Bob and Shirin brought the place to life about 4 years ago. We like the place so much we've even stayed overnight twice. The town of Meldrum Bay itself is like a tiny maritime village in the heart of Ontario, and the Inn has become its welcoming centre. If you ever travel to Meldrum Bay on a warm summer day, and find yourself hungry, be sure to ask for a table on the porch. It's hard to imagine a better meal than Bob's whitefish, a glass of cool wine, and the blue shimmering waters of the North Channel in front of you. Thank you Bob, Shirin and Elena!

We spent 2 days and nights at this charming Inn overlooking Meldrum Bay. This family run establishment is located in the most westerly part of Manitoulin Island giiving it a feeling Nirvana upon arrival. The food is great, the hospitality warm and freindly in an environment that almost turns back time. Owners Sherin, Bob and Elena make this the perfect place to escape to, this family makes you feel like family.
