My dear friends of Sabaidy 2 Guesthouse, if you have a problem
with bedbugs It's better if you seriously disinfest maybe closing
the guesthouse for the necessary time.
I understand that your business is important but also guest's health is.

We were lucky to get a double room with an attached bathroom which was totally adequate and clean. We liked the variety of leafy, sheltered outdoor sitting areas and the friendly service. The Bolaven Plateau Tour offered by the guesthouse gave us interesting insights into coffee and tea production, rural communities as well as sights of spectacular waterfalls. Our guide had a good sense of humor and spoke English well. We would stay there again.

We called early in the morning from Pakse to see if they had a room for us, and the guy on the phone said "Yes, come down and we'll have one for you". We arrived ten minutes later and I mentioned at the front desk we had just called and would like to see the room. We were told it would just be a few minutes, so we waited outside. Meanwhile the guest house is giving our room away to people on a list that we were not put on. I asked nicely if we needed to be added to the list, and the guy at the front desk just ignored me. He wouldn't even talk to us. This was the rudest experience we have had in all of Laos. We grabbed our bags and walked out. This Guest House is so popular that it's losing its great customer service we had read about online. They're so busy they don't care how they treat customers. Think twice about going here, it's a long walk from the bus station and there's plenty of other places for around the same price with free internet on Rte 13.

We stayed 2 nights and absolutely loved it!
Got a double room with private bathroom (hot shower) in the new building, which was very good value. Nice and clean. Cosy little patio to enjoy a couple of nice cold Beerlao.
The staff was incredible! Real lao hospitality. We did participate in the 1-day-tour to the Bolaven Plateau organised by this guesthouse which was very nice and well organised.
Breakfast is not included but is simple and quite good.

We stayed in a room that was in the new building in the back. 98'000 K which wasn't bad considering how nice the room was. It was also the last room available so we had to take it. They are very busy so unless you get there early you'll have to call them! Room was spacious, bathroom nice with hot shower. Staff was one of the best out of all of the Guesthouses we've stayed in. Very helpful and always friendly. We did their Bolaven plateau day tour and it was excellent 180'000 K (price might be higher if there's only a few people going). I would definitely recommend this place!

Double room was small, the window was woven with leaves and ours didn't close properly so we had to tie it shut with some string. Shared bathrooms were ok, have to pay extra for Internet and they have a book exchange. Good location but I would only stay for a stop over. Good for budget travellers.

Quiet and well managed location. The upgraded room # 19 at 98.000 kip + 10.000 wifi is really comfortable. High density of rrooms of different qualities can produce noise, as do people leaving very early. They thought about sprinklers on the iron roofs; id they forgot trees produce fresh, musical and healthy coolness by their shade, breeze, dustdetention, birds...for free?
