“Good Pub Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

If you like decent pub food, you will like this place. No competition in Dease Lake, but they treat you right. Downside for a Pub - the only thing they have 'on tap' is water. Bottled beer only, but they have wine and spirits also.

“How lovely!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

We were enroute to Whitehorse and stayed the night in Dease Lake. We were fairly late getting in and the pub was just around the corner.
Although the menu didn't include a vegetarian dish per se, the waitress checked with the cook who came out personally to ask after any food allergies, and then whipped us up a lovely vegetable stirfry with rice, garlic bread and a few other delicious touches. What a champ!! We probably added to his workload that evening but he was accommodating as were the rest of the pub staff. Thank you so much - what a welcome change after days of fast food and convenience store meals on the road :)

“Yummy pork chops and friendly staff.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2012

We spent 2 days in Dease Lake during a closure of the Alaska Highway. We ate dinner at Tanzilla Pub, the special was pork chops with real gravy and mashed potatoes. The salad was fresh and the food tasted like home. The beer was nice and cold and the locals friendly. Hockey finals were on TV and we were able to play pool in another area without bothering the fans while dinner was cooking. It doesn't look like much from the outside but don't hesitate. It's clean, hospitable and the food is good.

“Stop in and meet the locals in Dease Lake”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

We stopped in here to have a drink and talk with the locals. Several hours later we were walking back to the Inn. It is such a quaint little pub and everyone made us feel so welcome. Food took a while coming as the gal doing the bar seemed to have to do the food too but we weren't in any hurry and it was hot and tasty.
