“Getting there”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2015

The place is now called Blue Rare which could be part of a chain as I see there is one in Sherwood Park. The service was pretty good with friendly staff. The location is great in downtown St. Albert. The food was good but not exceptional. I don't think they have been open long so I think they are worthy of a second try.
My only complaint is the washroom. It's at the top of the stairs which is not good planning. There was nothing to dry your hands. This gives the impression that the place is not that well managed.

“poor”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2015

I have a gc for Rics grill bought at St albert location. If it is still the same owner, just a different restaurant name, then why will they not accept the gc? They have received the money for it. Very disappointed. With customer service like this I don't see it staying around very long. Im willing to give in the gc and in return have them donate the money to charity. Much better off then having the money thrown in the garbage. greedy greedy

Not surprisingly but sadly it's closed. Another location in downtown St.Albert that hasn't survived due to a bizarre culture that means locals don't eat out after 5pm

“A Terrible Experience Avoid”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2014

This was a very poor restaurant. Not at all busy for a Friday night and that speaks volumes.
Food was expensive, tasteless and ordinary. Restaurant is looking run down. Waiter would not honour a recently purchased gift certificate that has no expiry on it. Will never go back for any reason. Save your time and money, never step foot in this restaurant and most certainly do not ever buy a gift certificate for anyone (even your worst enemy) to Ric's.
