This genuine little Italian place that makes its own pasta and cooks interesting Italian dishes (classics as well as inventive, and definitely no pizza) is about 5 blocks back from the beach, hidden away on a local shopping street not known for food as good as this. One owner (Sara) greets you at the door, the other (Andrea) is chef. The food is very very good We had a lovely time, and more people need to encourage the Italian couple who own and run the restaurant, especially in the off-season.We're planning to be regulars when we're in town, and to tell others.
The couple also give a euro from each bill to a clean water in Africa project, and local artists exhibit their paintings on the walls.
Wednesdays through Sundays, opens at 17:00
