“really gone down the dumper!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2011

after much thought - group of friends decided on voreas - couldn't really be bothered to go the 20 minute drive - but whatever. been before - first time last year - was REALLY impressed - everything plentiful - different - lovely garden - cool breeze - ate like kings! took a family party of 15 from u.k. shortly after - they were very impressed and my uncle has 4 restaurants in Leeds!! so far so good. went with my boyfriend and an italian friend who was over in the winter - dishes were half what they were! we were not full and meat hard. i spoke with an acquaintance about it and they had had the same experience. oh well - we didn't go back after that. so, here we were again. well, dishes the same - so that's not exciting for somebody who eats there regularly - limited menu - coz the mezes the thing. busy in there i must admit. parking place is haphazard in a dusty plot of land next door - on a slope (well it is hilly in oroklini village - but still!) - if u spot the faded sign up a little road but we parked in the hotel opposite - nice tarmac for our mercedes! so, still breezy and pretty garden. good volume music to chat! the food was extremely meaty for my taste - additionally everything was sprinkled with halloumi cheese and anari - EVEN THE FRIED POTATOES!!! the souvlaki and sheftalies were burnt. u r so full when the liver and lamb comes - i mean i wasn't coz i hardly had anything - and that's another thing - i told the waiter i would only be having a drink - did he care - of course not - he wanted to make his Euro 17.50. people took 2 trays of leftovers to feed their dogs - i think that says it all. it was a birthday party - we were treated to nothing. the sweet at the end was a honey pie doughy thing - well considering our bill equalled nearly euro 250.00 - at least we could have been offered a plate of fruit. the soft drinks were in little glass bottles for 1.95 - 2 slurps and it's gone! (give us a tin - and stop ripping us off!!) so all in all - good luck to them for having clients - but not our cup of tea again - sorry - we will stick closer to home - and we will eat the food we've paid for - not our pets!!
