Eat like the French! This is a small restaurant so arrive early because the locals will fill it up quickly.
Set aside your North American expectations and be prepared for a two hour lunch. The food is prepared to order in a small kitchen with a husband and wife team to serve. On the tables are various fascinating books on the area and gastronomy. You’ll find yourself perusing with enjoyment as you await each course and the time will disappear. We seemed to be the only obvious tourists on the Saturday we visited. The rabbit tourine fait à la maison was delicious . My spouse had fish cakes followed by lamb chops which disappeared with gusto. I had the veal shoulder, very tender. Coffees were excellent and my chocolate dessert was fabulous. You’ll find good value for money and a very relaxed but welcoming ambiance.
