Used this hotel since 2001 and at different times of the year, beautiful location, great views, nice breakfast, clean rooms. Down sides - Wireless internet not always reliable and the dinner menu is boring.

Dear Guest

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at the Hotel Villa Michelangelo and for taking the time to include your feedback on Tripadvisor. It was very pleasing to learn that you had a enjoyable stay with us and that you appreciated the hotel’s ideal location within the amazing view of the Colli Berici,
We are making all efforts to improve the Hotel Wifi -internet service which sometimes is not working properly because of the particular location of our property. Our Restaurant offers a typical regional Menù with a choice of different dishes which are always changing according to the seasonal period.
We appreciated your observations and advice and please rest assured we will make good use of them.

Looking forward to seeing you again soon
With best regards

This hotel has amazing views of the countryside, but needs a lot of work on the inside. The hallways are dark, the pool is only open in the Summer even though it is an indoor pool, the decor and artwork is from 1972 (literally signed artwork from 1972) and the biggest problem was the date of manufacture on my mattress was 1984!!!! Gross and uncomfortable. The pillows were terrible as well. The room could have used a good cleaning as we had hair everywhere. Other than the great view, the room was pretty average (small TV, small tub, and bare floor with no carpet). For the price you charge, they should pay much more attention to ensuring the room was comfortable. They even charged me an extra $75 to have our baby in the room with us even though we brought our own crib. Probably the least welcoming hotel I have stayed at in all of Italy.

Dear Guests,

We would like to express our sincere thanks for the observations you sent us regarding services at our Hotel. We are continually striving to improve the hospitality we offer, and comments from our guests are always welcome. Our property is considering some renovation works in order to maintain the Hotel at its traditional high level. As far as the supplement is concerned, it’s hotel policy to consider free of charge one child sharing the room with the parents , while there is an extra charge (Breakfast included) in case of an additional child.
We appreciated your observations and advice and please rest assured we will make good use of them. We are likewise anxious to have another opportunity to show you that your useful advice have not been expressed for nothing. We look forward to welcoming you at our Villa Michelangelo in the near future to enable us to offer you our most attentive service.
Kindest regards

This must be one of the nices places I've ever been to!

Stayed here for several nights in July 2013, and absolutely loved it!
During the weekend the hotel was a bit busy, but during the weekdays we practically had the swimming pool area for ourselves. Very nice staff, gorgeous surroundings and the hotel / building itself was so charming and great, I'd recommend it to anyone!

I stayed here on the '3 for 2' deal in August. I've been to different parts of Veneto and I thought Hotel Villa Michaelangelo looked lovely. It was! We had a pleasant room full of rich character and beautiful furniture.
Pool was fantastic - we were there 1st week in august and never had a problem getting a sun lounger, which are located on private little balconies facing the sun and overlooking a wonderful view. If you wanted a drink from the bar you sometimes had to wait, but this is understandable as the pool wasn't extremely busy. Bar staff were so friendly, particularly the guy with the fair hair. It was nice to be by a quiet pool and the fact that it opened from 10 to 6 didn't bother me too much; I was on my holidays and barely out of bed by 9. By 6pm the sun was disappearing and I was getting ready to go out anyway.
Breakfast was lovely; a choice of sitting outside or in. Hot food available, a range of meats, the usual Italian breakfast. Coffee made to order. Again, staff very friendly.
The location was great for visiting Verona and Vicenzia, both lovely places and worth seeing. There are also some lovely historic villas to visit in the area.
An very characteristic, rustic and quietly pleasant hotel with an absolutely beautiful pool area and stunning views. I can only imagine that having read the previous complaints, some people set unrealstically high standards.
Would I stay again? Yes, please! We intend to!
Tip: If you're hungry but don't fancy eating in the hotel, there's a great little pizzeria within walking distance, so you can enjoy a few drinks there too!

we have stayed many times at this pleasant hotel. A few kilometers outside Vicenza and worth the journey. Pleasant and professional staff. A good restaurant with reasonable prices. A large indoor pool but for some reason open only from 10 til 18:00 which is not much use if you are either a business person or out and about being a tourist.
We make a detour to stay here.

Didn`t stay in hotel, but 5 of us went to the La Loggia restaurant there for a meal. The views from the hotel are breathtaking, some good wine, and staff helpful. However we found the food very variable, from the very good to ( for one of our party) a main course that was very poor- including overcooked vegetables

We stayed here in winter 10 years ago and had good memories. It appears to have only aged since then. The pool area seems to have been redone but then the main dining is now around the pool deck and this wasn't great, even if there are views from here. Some staff were very helpful but it did not seem they had enough. Simply average.
