“Wonderful Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

I had an unforgettable week in Anthemus Sea Beach Hotel & Spa, with peace and fun. The beauty and tranquility of the place is impressive, the cuisine is excellent and with options for vegetarians. The staff is very helpful; the room is airy, very clean and beautiful.

I attended an Autumn School there. It was a nice place with a great breakfast buffet. We also had our lunches and dinners in the restaurant and I really liked it. Though, I was there in October and not sure how the quality of the services would be in high seasons.

Lives up to the description, a fine hotel with good facilities. Has some great off-season deals. Huge selection and good quality in the buffet. Secluded location. Quiet room (not sea-facing, still nice enough view) with good facilities and comfortable bed. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Had a good conference at late-season; food was good and I slept like a child all week! TWe used the beach every day and it was clean and inviting - never got to use the pool or spa, but if it is at the same level as the rest of the place, it would have been good as well.

The hotel is nicely located, though the only attractions are the beach and the nice, green hills nearby.
However, I was not satisfied with the restaurant. The selection of vegetarian dishes was very limited and sometimes included fish and a salad with ham. I have an allergy and the staff were unable to provide me information about ingredients (not to mention provide special food). The good point was a wide choice of fresh fruits.

For medical reasons we had to postpone going away in Sept but came here in October. We were upgraded within minutes of arrival and had a huge groundfloor room. Not the adapted room we booked but still accessible for our wheelchair user son, husband and myself, currently using crutches. The cleanliness of all the hotel and grounds was excellent. Everywhere around hotel shut so lunched in limited menu hotel taverna. We didn't meet any other uk guests but Germans and their well-behaved children spoke to us in English. Activities got less and less. Buffet excellent until last two days when the hotel seemed to be using up food which was very poor. Even hotel shop shut for afternoon. Staff left and a few kitchen/waiting staff seemed overworked at end of holiday. Hotel has good wheelchair accessibility and even wooden walkways on beach.

Room Tip: Room 124 excellent.

Great staff and animation, tasty and various food. Extended menu for vegetarians and gluten intolerant people (that should be communicated to hotel administration before arrival). Beautiful place, nice beach (especially for children, water is not deep for a long distance), great massage in spa-salon.

A nice place to organize a conference - large conference room, and all the facilities are available at hotel. Hotel administration assisted a lot during our event.

Room Tip: with a sea view! and not on the east side next to the nearby camping
