“Great value and location.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

Stayed here for 2 nights with a group of friends over a weekend.
Arrived at 2pm Friday, lots of parking available at the back of the hotel.
Reception staff (2 girls) English was limited but with our limited Thai we managed to check everyone in without any problems.
Rooms located at the back overlooking the car park were nice and quiet and clean with a good shower, basic furniture, old style TV for the 400 Baht rooms, the DeLuxe/VIP rooms for 600 Baht a night were better furnished.
Close to the Rail station and turning left out the hotel takes you to the bars, eating places and the square with all the night clubs and music bars, less than 200m away.

Room Tip: Overlooking the car park at the back for the quieter rooms.

This hotel is less than one block away from the train station. We checked in late at night and the hotel staff was not prepared for English speaking tourists and we felt kind of ignored at first. Then we found our room and it was very nice. Very clean and quiet and we slept great and had a nice stay. In the lobby of the hotel they have a city map in English of Buriram that is made by the Buriram Expats Team. This map was very helpful. Just have the mind set that when you show up in Buriram you are own your own. I do not think that Buriram is on the tourist trail so do not expect the "red carpet" treatment. It is more of a blue collar city with great food and an authentic look into the life of Thai people.

I stayed in the Thai Hotel in Buriram, we arrived on the train early in the morning. We asked if we check in early do we get the whole day, and we were never really honestly answered... we paid for two rooms, which smelled of sewer (and the mattresses were filthy), and stayed there for about four or five hours when the room phone rang, and we were asked if we were going to check out, or pay for the next day... we tried to explain that we had just paid, and that we had asked about an early check-in, but the manager told us that. "we should have known better"... we checked out rather than give them any more of our business, and will never go back again. They were very rude, and seemed not to want us there anyway. The place was empty, I think I know why.
