“Good Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

This about 45 min from Buriram Airport, Thailand, Buriram is north east of Bangkok, flight from Bangkok by Nok Air takes about 1 hour 30 min. As one approach one may think what a dilapidated area but once inside the gates it is good. The owner manager speaks good English, educated in UK and reliable and a very good tour guide. He took us in his car to see the temples that we came to see and also the silk making villages. All about 1 hr 30 min from Jintana. The villas are all overlooking the small lake with swans and water birds. One can have breakfast in the middle of lake under a small pagoda.Breakfast is not all that great, but included in the price. Room is A/C, good bed, good size, good shower & towels and toilet and no outside noise, cleaned every day ,Buriram night market is very close with rickshaw and worth a visit and get fruits for breakfast!

Room Tip: Take the bungalows facing the lake

Have been staying here every time I visit buriram. Having stay before at the Panorama, Thai Chalet and the deluxe room, the exprenience with the different theme rooms are all great. The resort provided a beautiful landscape with 2 lovable swans in the central pond. Location wise was quite accessible and near to quite number of places. Variety of foods to choose from the in-house restaurant and taste delicious.
The most important aspect that keep drawing me back to jintana resort is the service the of the owner cum manager, Mr Nat and his well trained staffs provided on my stay. A great place to rest and relax in buriram

Good location, good standing, friendly staff, good business understanding.
I booked by Agoda and I was quite surprise compare to other hotel / resort in Buriram. This one is so far the best as everything you need is here.
Just maybe the only lack was the aircond on the first day, but directly handled in a soft and professional manner by the Manager.

Will come back

Thank you

Room Tip: large choice

Needing a place to stay at short notice we found this place.
The room was spacious, Thai Chalet Suite, but the bathroom with just a shower could have done with a bit of a clean.
The staff spoke a good level English and were very helpful. Free WiFi worked well.
Breakfast had an ok selection of cooked dishes to order, though the tea & coffee was disappointing! Instant coffee and a few tea bags to place in to tiny cups.
The option for food in the evening need after a busy day and long trip was poor. Kitchen closed really early.
The biggest downside was the dawn rooster chorus!!!!

Not sure why they call it a resort??

I'm sure it would appeal to some people it was ok for a night, but I doubt we would stay there again.

Jintana resort is not too far from centre, but if not have your own transportation is not easy to move around, resort is the small street, connected to an other small street. This place is not really adapted to receive foreign visitor, the place is mostly used by representatives from company and sellers travelling through Thailand all year round, just check car park and you will see number of pick up truck full of goods, guest arrive early evening and leave early morning. Best room are quite nice even if furniture and design made it "cold", no any foreign channel on this resort, breakfast is really simple, staff only have few knowledge of English language. Place is safe and surrounding green, clean landscape make the place more convivial.

Jintana Resort and Hotel is well worth considering for Buri Ram. The resort is close to main street and bus station and is well sign posted from main road. The staff are very helpful, the resort is clean and for Buri Ram, high quality. The breakfast is ok but if you are a tea drinker, take your own milk. I'd recommend they buy some larger cups for us tea drinkers but overall, I was happy enough to book extra days and I will return.

Room Tip: The Panorama Villa are best highest spec but there are cheaper options.
