“Simply Tuscan at its best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Was one of the best meals I had during my two week stay in Tuscany. They use local products many of them organic. I had the chickpeas crepes stuffed with ricotta cheese, pine nuts & leeks (€7.00). These were excellent - to die for. Accompanied by a glass of the house red wine (€2.00). I then had the Pappardelle with traditional rabbit sauce. (€8.00) also very excellent with a half bottle of the "Toi" Vernnaccia di San Gimignano wine(€9.00). For dessert I chose the traditional Tuscan Cantuccini & Vin Santo (€5.00)The service was friendly and timely.

“Reasonable but dreadful service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012

This is a reasonable Tuscan trattoria but let's not get carried away. The reviews are all from passers by that are probably so in love with Tuscany that they tolerate awful service as the chianti and bread sink in.

“A Delightful Gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

This restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. We tried a number of their dishes. Each one was interesting twist on Tuscan cusine. Take it from a "foodie", don't miss this restaurant if you happen to be in the area. Their service was also excellent.

“Local food of five star variety”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

The owner of this little restaraunt is also an owner in the Tuscan Wine School in Sienna. The food is great, bread is awesome and the wine list (obviously) is top notch though not expensive.

“Perfect lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

After many days of having heavy, multi-course lunches, we were delighted to find this restaurant. The menu is simple, but interesting, and we felt no pressure to order more than we wanted. The crepes and cabbage flan were outstanding, and so different from what we'd been seeing on Tuscan menus. Helpful staff, wonderful food -- perfect!
