“Second time and just as good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We love coming back to Adler as you know exactly what you are going to get....... Superb service, excellent food, and an amazing luxurious spa and totally stunning location.

It really does have something for everyone. Our 6 year old daughter loves the fact she can enjoy the hot thermal pools and have a massage just like Mummy, yet she also loves the independence of the kids club. I love the fact she is treated like a princess (although lets hope she doesn't get too used to it) nothing is too much trouble for her, children are very welcome at Adler.

The spa is fantastic, I highly recommend the Watsu, underwater massage, the facials, and the reflexology, in fact I recommend the lot and would have worked my way through the spa treatments had I had the time!!!

Special mention must go to Mirko our waiter who was brilliant, Angela in the bar her cocktails are amazing, and Mimi and Ulli in the spa who were always there with a smile, a friendly greeting and helpful tip.

Whilst staying at Adler, don't miss the opportunity to visit Pienza (especially the ice cream shop on the corner of the square (not the pizza restaurant)), and on Via Elsa there is an amazing artist called Isabella Bisa whose paintings of Tuscany are enchanting, she will also paint to order, we have just commissioned a large painting for our lounge, can't wait to see it. Also visit San Quirico and Montalcino, both charming.

Will we be back....... Definitely!

We travelled for 3 weeks through Italy. Our 5 nights in the Adler hotel proved to be a heaven of peace. The food was truly outstanding, the massages great and the place was very well run. The a staff go out of their way to help and make your stay extra special! We loved every minute of our stay. Gym and free classes were great as was the heated thermal pool esp when the weather was a bit wet for 2 days. Beautiful hiking area immediately outside the hotel. The village directly behind the hotel and larger town 6km away were both very pretty and great to visit. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return. Only area for improvement: air con was ok but not great. We travelled with our sons (13 and 15 yes old) who both greatly enjoyed this resort! Highly recommended for couples and families!

We stayed here for week and really enjoyed the hotel, the area and the spa!
We made several day trips to surrounding hilltop villages, also made it over to Perugia in
Umbria to see the torn and then your Perugina chocolate factory just outside of
Perugia.
Overall, a great family trip. The kids enjoyed their independence and were able to have lunch and dinner there while we enjoyed nice 4 course dinners at a leisurely pace!

My wife and I stayed here as part of a two week tour of the region.
This is a very very good hotel!
We have stayed here twice and it is our favourite hotel in Italy.
The food, service and facilities are excellent! We regularly compare other hotels against this as it really does provide a benchmark for a first class stay.
No faults! Outstanding!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2014 via mobile

Having rebooked again after a fabulous holiday last year my wife and I were apprehensive that we would not enjoy it as much. Within minutes of arriving our concerns were alleviated. This resort is special, the natural spa facilities, views of Tuscany, swimming pool, fitness facilities and classes, and most importantly the food and drink are first class. Give it a try you will not regret your decision.

My wife and I and two adult girls stayed here for two wonderful nights. It was an unforgettable experience. When we arrived, saw the hot springs/pools and the views, we knew we were in a special place. I have read the other postings and agree with them. There is no finer spa experience. The food, service, grounds, activities, spa both services you pay for and those you don't were first class. It was a privilege to be able to stay here, one that we will not soon forget. Note: this is truly a couples/romantic place but we enjoyed having our 20 something year old daughters with us too.

Go to the Adler Spa in the hills of Tuscany if you want good food, relaxation, hot springs to warm your body, a good massage, and serenity. Although we were only there as day guests we wish that we could have stayed for a few days. It is not inexpensive but give yourself a treat. The new wellness center has wonderful zero gravity chairs. When I sat down all the aches and pains in my spine disappeared as I got to quietly sketch in my drawing pad and gaze outside at the gorgeous hills of Tuscany. The 4:00 tea is delightful, although we almost missed it because the young girl at the desk told us it was from 5-6. Fortunately, we arrived for tea early at 4:45 and we were able to partake! There are all sorts of relaxation spots on the property with grottos, steam rooms and saunas. The spa boasts both indoor and outdoor pools. I would love to return!
