“Even better the 2nd time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2014 via mobile

Having rebooked again after a fabulous holiday last year my wife and I were apprehensive that we would not enjoy it as much. Within minutes of arriving our concerns were alleviated. This resort is special, the natural spa facilities, views of Tuscany, swimming pool, fitness facilities and classes, and most importantly the food and drink are first class. Give it a try you will not regret your decision.

My wife and I and two adult girls stayed here for two wonderful nights. It was an unforgettable experience. When we arrived, saw the hot springs/pools and the views, we knew we were in a special place. I have read the other postings and agree with them. There is no finer spa experience. The food, service, grounds, activities, spa both services you pay for and those you don't were first class. It was a privilege to be able to stay here, one that we will not soon forget. Note: this is truly a couples/romantic place but we enjoyed having our 20 something year old daughters with us too.

Go to the Adler Spa in the hills of Tuscany if you want good food, relaxation, hot springs to warm your body, a good massage, and serenity. Although we were only there as day guests we wish that we could have stayed for a few days. It is not inexpensive but give yourself a treat. The new wellness center has wonderful zero gravity chairs. When I sat down all the aches and pains in my spine disappeared as I got to quietly sketch in my drawing pad and gaze outside at the gorgeous hills of Tuscany. The 4:00 tea is delightful, although we almost missed it because the young girl at the desk told us it was from 5-6. Fortunately, we arrived for tea early at 4:45 and we were able to partake! There are all sorts of relaxation spots on the property with grottos, steam rooms and saunas. The spa boasts both indoor and outdoor pools. I would love to return!

I had been in Tuscany many times, mostly touring around but this time I was looking for a place to relax with my family. The spot of the hotel is impeccable: a 180 degree view of green hills, farms, olive trees, vineyard and a medieval tower. Beautiful. The hotel lays on extensive grounds and has a very well kept garden. The spring water pools are very nice, some warmer and some cooler to allow proper swimming. During our stay it was a bit chilly to use those "cooler" pools, but the hotter pool did not feel crowded at all despite the hotel being fully booked. Remarkable staff: all were very polite and very well trained and helpful. The included food (breakfast and dinner) was of very good quality (I try to avoid all inclusive hotels drearing the food, but here I was happily surprised) and the extras (wine, cocktails, etc) not expensive. The children club was great, and our son loved it. We did a bit mountain biking (they lend you good quality electric bikes) and it was great too. Coming back next year.

All the wonderful things written in other reviews are true - this hotel is an extraordinary place looking after the whole family - we didn't want to leave. The staff are delightful, the food excellent, the kids club really did entertain the children but, most importantly, the spa's superb and the thermal waters truly rejuvenating. Stunning setting with Beautiful walks and bike rides from the hotel were worth getting out of the pools for. Excellent access for disabled guests.

Fabulous hotel- stayed at many of the world's 5 star hotels and on service and friendly, lovely people, Adler is THE best. It is a perfect choice for a family break (super kids club, lovely food and very welcoming to children) The 2 bedroom family suites are perfect, the surrounding countryside is beautiful, it is a perfect combination for a relaxing family holiday- we are just about to book our 6th visit.

The heart of this wonderful resort is a beautiful pool, filled with warm thermal waters, famed since ancient times for healing, soothing properties. There are also lavish saunas, excellent health and beauty treatments using natural products like grapes and olive oil, a lovely dining room serving fresh, local produce, and everywhere views of the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
Special thanks to Minnie in the Spa and Manfredo in the dining room, and to Christina for leading wonderful excursions to Siena and Montalcino -- you made my stay memorable!
