8th time at capo bay,yes the allocation of loungers is brilliant but people have started to reserve them before they even get to Cyprus
They are now requesting beds by e mail with total number of the bed(s) and location they want or by indicating on extract from google earth
We certainly seem to have got one up on our European competitors (what will they respond with? )
This is leading to much confusion for not only residents but the pool attendants who already have a difficult job
Apart from this brilliant

We spent 4 nights at the hotel in late August. Excellent breakfast much better than Grecian Park's.It includes freshly made omelletes my daughger loved, pancakes and of course the full monty english breakfast.Hotel staff were very friendly and the huge pool was very clean. Guests at the hotel are not your typical beans on toast lager types. Also it seems to be apreferred spot for Lebanese tourists. A lot of repeat customers will include my family. Things to improve are to offer free wifi in rooms. Also, matresses in our room 357 have had their days it seems. Will definitely return next year.

Beautiful hotel and location but two things - inland facing rooms were noisy until around 2 am and I mean thumping music noisy - also our room 404 had an interconnecting door which meant it was noisier and we had a young baby in our adjoining room which was bad enough but the Russian mother was even louder!!
Might as well been in the room with us so no siesta at all for a week and an early wake up from baby every day - not what you want on holiday!!
The music from the strip was until 1:30 to 2:00 am so not too bad but you could hear it in your room clearly.
I loved the beach, the sea was so warm and clear and the water sports and boat trips were great value - in fact a 2 hour plus boat trip cost €10 (children go free!) but a feta cheese wrap at the hotels pool bar was €13:90!!!
Drinks were expensive there but convenient!
Aqua aerobics the girl hadn't a clue! But for friendliness etc can't fault it.
Acts mostly poor in the pubs - except live band at sphinx bar, Michael Jackson and maybe Freddie mercury if he upped the anti from shell suit bottoms and fancy dress style jacket!!! Critical I know but we've seen amazing acts elsewhere and these were mediocre to say the least - eating out not particularly cheap but fab food so all good!
Capo bay is great if you are a wedding watcher in our 14 day stay there were 12!!!!!

We got married and stopped in the Capo Bay hotel in September 2013. Everything about the hotel was great, the staff, the food, the hotel and the attention to detail that they paid to our wedding. We also got upgraded free as part of the wedding package to one of their top rooms. The room (147) was excellent! It got cleaned twice a day, had 2 TVs, 2 bathrooms, iPod dock, coffee machines, fruit every day and a hot tub on the terrace. This is perfect for any couple wishing to get married in Cyprus!!!! The drinks around the pool are a little on the dear side, maybe if they where a little cheaper more people would buy the drinks rather than bringing their own in from the shop. Don't get a room facing the strip as it is quite noisy until the small hours! A sea view of figtree bay is perfect!

Try the Koi bar in the hotel too, it does some great sushi. It's not the cheapest place but the portions are massive.

Room Tip: Don't get a room facing the strip as it is quite noisy until the small hours! A sea view of fig...

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and am glad we did, we arrived at 23.30 and were greeted by the porter who took our cases, we went to check in ad were told they had upgraded us to a suite on the ground floor which had its own patio leading to the garden and pool. We were given a small glass of sherry whilst we checked in.We were shown to the room by the porter who showed us how to work the safe ( which is included in the price of your room so no extra fee), he also showed us how to work the shower and the air con. We had a bottle of champagne waiting on ice along with some lovely red roses in a vase...all complimentary! we were on a B&B basis and the breakfasts were great plenty to choose from. The sunbed system is great, you get towel cards which you exchange for fresh towels and you hand them back when you want clean ones. You see the sunbed man who will find you a bed and this is yours for the duration of your stay, if you want to move its no problem as you go and see the pool man and he will move you. The place was spotless and the pools were lovely. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The one thing you need to know about is the mini bar in your room...if you take anything out and I mean anything you WILL get charged there is enough space for you to put some bottles of water in but do not take anything out and leave out or they will charge you. There is a note telling you this on top of the fridge. The wifi is free in the lobby if you want it in your room its 15 euro for a week. There are lots of weddings in this hotel as it is lovely, they have a bar at the pool and the lovely koi bar. It cost about 9.40 euros for 2 pints of lager which is quite expensive and the koi bar though lovely was even more expensive as a result we tended to go out for a drink....that was the only fault I had with the hotel. I would recommend this hotel its one of the best I have been in

Room Tip: pool view/sea view rooms are probably quieter as you are very close to all the bars and we were on t...

We have just returned home from our 2nd visit this year to Capo Bay. We have visited Protaras for the past 8 years and stayed at several of the hotels along the strip. None of which lived up to the standard of service we received at Capo Bay. The location is superb, the rooms well furbished and always clean. We stayed on a b&b basis, the quality of the food available at breakfast is second to none. All staff are attentive and nothing was to much trouble for them. We would highly recommend this hotel. In fact we are looking at dates to stya in 2014.

What a wonderful hotel, having stayed in Protaras over the past 15 yrs & many hotels, we have got to say this was by far the best, it should be 5 star as everything about it was wonderful. We arrived on Sunday 8th of Sept for 2weeks, as soon as you enter the hotel you feel a warm welcome & it continued for the duration of our stay. We were very impressed with the friendliness & first class service from the staff, we would like to mention a few who stood out for us, a very warm welcome greeted us every morning as you entered the breakfast from Aniko she was such a genuine lovely girl & deserves to be recognised, a credit to your hotel, our kids also enjoyed going to her yoga classes, also Carmen she was so lovely & very attentive at breakfast, she also spent time chatting to us to ensure we were having a lovely stay. The spa & staff were wonderful, VIcky the manager leads a great team & we thoroughly enjoyed using the 5 star facilities, we felt very spoiled with the attention we received, our kids also booked a few treatments which they found to be of a very good standard, we would would like to also mention costas at the bar, he made fabulous cocktails, which we all thoroughly enjoyed & was also very friendly & professional at all times, having said all of the above & mentioned few names, we felt everyone in the hotel provided a very high standard of customer service. A few negative points I would like to mention is we booked & paid for a side sea view, which we received, however it was very disappointing, we had rooms 302, 316, 326, 328, 2 of the rooms from the party paid for the view the other 2 were given the rooms anyway, the noise coming from a few of the bars until 2am in the morning was very loud in all of these rooms & would never want to stay in these rooms or that side of the hotel again, we also felt the £50 to stay in your room for a late check out was a bit steep, however on a more positive note, we will definitely recommend this hotel to our family & friends & will definitely return ourselves as we all had an amazing. Well done to all of the hotel staff & management & a huge thank you.
