“New season at Capo Bay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

Capo Bay has been our favorite destination for many years. Our stay last September was as enjoyable as ever. Although the hotel with its indoor and outdoor facilities is in very good shape, every year there are some changes and improvements. Now we are very much looking forward to the next two visits in 2013, in July with children and grandchildren, then 3 relaxing weeks in September in the very nice atmosphere at Capo Bay enjoying the sun, the nice waters and the excellent food. We warmly recommend a stay in Capo Bay Hotel!

I have been going to the Capo Bay hotel on family holidays since I was born. We are going again in August, and this will be my 14th year. The staff at the hotel are absolutely brilliant. They can't do enough for you. Always smiling, very polite and friendly, and have all the time in the world for you. They will bend over backwards to help you. There are plenty of lovely places to eat in the Capo Bay. All offering a variety of foods. There is a pool bar, and 2 other bars, with music or if you want to relax. The rooms are very tidy and big. They are cleaned everyday and bed linen changed. The idea of having your own sunless for your stay is brilliant, as you pick where you want to sit, and they are yours for the duration of your stay. There are two pools, and the main pool has a section for children. The hotel is situated on the famous Fig Tree Bay beach which is also stunning. The hotel has a spa which offers loads of different treatments and it also has a pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. It is a very family and couple orientated hotel. The hotel is of an excellent standard. I would recommend it to anyone.

The Capo Bay Hotel is fabulous. We are going again this year, and it will be our 14th year at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and polite, and can't do enough for you. There are a variety of places where you can eat, and there is something to suit everyone. The Capo Bay is set on the famous Fig Tree Bay, and there are also a lot of weddings which take place at the hotel. The reception area and the rooms are very clean. The idea of having your own sunbeds for the time you stay at the hotel is great. The Oneiro spa is a must, as it offers great facilities. The hotel has two main pools, and one of the pools has a children's section. The Capo Bay hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere and is perfect for families and couples. You couldn't want for better staff or hotel. Everything is perfect.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It's a must.

Meant to write this review since August. This was our second visit to the hotel
great location, on the Fig tree Bay, which is included in the best 25 beaches of Europe.
Almost same faces and staff as on our previous visit. Friendly and very helpful.
Loved the Mama's local cuisine in the evenings and the sushi at Koi. Great relaxing atmosphere.
Oneiro spa offers great wet area facilities. My wife had a massage and a body scrub and wrap. A must do! My little daughter enjoyed very much the mini-club activities!
THANK you all at the CAPO BAY. Hope to see you this summer!

We visited last October, and unsurprisingly the accommodation standard was good. The food was OK (not memorable because i can't remember it particularly!). There are already many reviews that give you all the info. and quality of the place, so i will concentrate on our gripe. Much applauded by others, we found the sunbeds allocation was a NEGATIVE ! We tried a couple of sunbeds over the first few days, but weren't particularly happy with them (one near beach too many flying insects, one at back a bit like relaxing in a muddy (but dry) grassy area. What really irked was the consequence of the allocation system was that most of the best sunbeds were ALWAYS EMPTY. I know why they do this, to stop the towel brigade, but there must be a better way. We spent the rest of our holiday on the beach instead.
Finally, that question everyone wants the answer to, Capo Bay or Sunrise Beach. We've stayed in both and Sunrise Beach every time, the rooms are bigger and better laid out, better views, the food is good, the dining area and after dinner lounge area more pleasant, the sunbeds allocation system somehow works better.

visiting Capo Bay for so many years and times. for me and my wife it's allways like coming home! hotel, rooms, restaurants, bars, pools - everything is in perfect condition. meals are delicous. but what is most important for us: The STAFF!!! everyone, from the gardener to the manager, is so nice and friendly ;-)
I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends and everybody asking for a hotel in Cyprus. will be there soon again.

Room Tip: side sea view and sea view rooms - whenever possible take one of these

We visited Capo Bay last September 2012 and it was one of the best holidays we ever had! The hotel & rooms are modern and spotlessly clean! The staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. We stayed Bed & Breakfast and the breakfast buffet was brilliant. The sun bed allocaton is a brilliant idea, I think all hotels should do it as it saves you racing for a sunbed first thing in the morning. Overall this hotel and the Protaras area is a perfect holiday destination for everyone, a selection of bars/restaurants are on your doorstep, even the taxi driver who dropped us off on our arrival said Capo Bay is the best hotel in Protaras! I couldn't fault this hotel at all and for that reason we will definatly be returning to Capo Bay in the future.
