Stayed for just 3 nights this time. Had a great first night, spent an hour drinking some of the best fresh cocktails in Cyprus at the clifftop bar which overlooks the bay, then went to the Umi Japanese Restaurant on the top floor of the hotel. Food was great there.
For the next 2 nights, we decided to go half board, big mistake! The food cost 25 euro per head for the evening meal but definatly was not 5* standard. Also the cliff top bar was accommodating post wedding drinks, this ment we couldn't find a seat. This was only down side of this amazing bar.
The next night, the food was ment to be a Greek night. The food was way below standard for even basic Greek food and not worth the money we paid.
Rooms are good apart from twin beds instead of doubles and the facilities are above average and the poolside service is good with ice cold towels brought to you in the afternoon. Views of Konnos bay are amazing!
If its good food you want though, dont bother going half board and find other places to eat like th Italian Restaurant over the road.
Overall, a great hotel, let down by poor half board food.

Just back from 1 week at The Grecian Park Hotel in Cyprus. It is rated 5 star. I would rate it a 4 star with 5 star prices. The hotel is about ten mins drive from the resort of Ayia Napa and costs €15 in a taxi. The airport is a good 45 - 50 mins from the hotel, so try use your transfers as it could be quite pricey in a taxi. On approaching the hotel, dont worry if it seems to appear a little shabby (as in the buildings beside it) as once you enter it, it does give the 5 star feel with its bright and spacious foyer leading out to the magnigficant pool area. We found the pool to be the nicest we've experienced in a long time. Its is absolutely emmaculatly clean everywhere you look, this goes for inside and outside of the hotel. Lovely pool bar (which you dont even have to move off your lounger for service, there is a waitress) At night, be sure to try the cliff bar. It was our favourite place there. The hotel is built on a cliff, and down some small steps at night lead to the cliff bar which is lit by lanters and candles only, outdoor area with all the features of a chillout bar and music to match. The food overall was good. Not cheap but it is rated a 5 star. Smaller snacks seemed to cost more than mealtimes. eg.. a late, milkshake and two crepes could cost near 30 euro. Set dinner is only 25pp (5 course) So be aware if that. The dress code is not strict altough they dont like you to wear beachwear and be convered up when in the foyer area. There is a sushi restuarant on the top floor which we tried. Lovely food, service ok, dont go if your hungry though, after our starter we waited 50 mins for our dinner to be served. Never again! Nice experince though! Not too expensive. (if your not having wine) The one thing we found a little annoying was our room. We were in room 414 (for anyone who's going soon, dont get it) It was way too small. I think this was due to the size of the bed. Lovely big comfy bed, but you could barely get around it, room was so small. Not much room for cases either. Bathroom ok but room def not up to 5 star standard, more like 3 star to us. On the day of our departure, we gor a courtesy room, and this was fab, so I guess we prob had an older one maybe, but do be aware of this also. Not much entertainment at night. There is a nite club in the hotel, only opens on Sat and Suns. Perfect for family holiday, couples or relaxing break. No need to bring beach towels, they give you a ticket each on arrival which you present at pool reception for exchange of towels and you hand them back in that eve. Dont loose them or they charge you 20euro each. Knossos beach is at the foot of the cliff at the hotel, but dont let the brochure fool you, its a good walk and to be honest, quite steep and dangerous as its just steps down the cliff side, we rented a car so we didnt use it, but I would not recommend it to be honest, too far. Knossos beach is lovely, quaint, some watersports, kiosk. Nice to relax and beautiful view. other big thing to be aware of here is Weddings, There were 2 weddings every day when we were there, This is the one thing I was worried about before going but dont let it put you off. The weddings are usually only small and in the evenings they are held in a private area so it wont effect you and mostly we never even seen them at night. They do walk by the pool area during the day as the ceremony is held on cliffside so you will see them then, but we found it nice. Everyone clapps as they walk by and to be honest after that we didnt see anymore of it. So overall, I would recommend this hotel, just be aware of some of the things I mentioned. Nice gym and good spa (Dermoligica treatments) tennis, table tennis, pool, internet room. We will def return again in the future now we know what to look out for.

This hotel should be renamed "Cape Grecko register office"! We arrived late at night to a cavernous foyer, a brusque reception, an extortionate mini bar price list and the threat of huge "fines" if you lost a room or towel card. This place caters solely for weddings---at a hell of a price, normal guests get a cold shoulder along with a cold breakfast and poor service. The air conditioning, essential in July, sounds like a vacuum cleaner ( it's the same in all the rooms). £5-00 for a drink at the pool bar and £7-00 for a barely edible sandwich. It's situated 3 miles from both Protaras and Ayia Napa so without a car you're stranded. It's on top of a cliff so the climb to the beach is not for the elderly, very young or infirm. Every weekend hundreds of Cypriots take over the place, culminating in an all night disco which does at least drown out the air con!
Absolutely nothing for younger people, and even less for older ones (we are in our 50's), fortunately we had a hire car and were able to go out in the evenings, but beware the local police-----they know people have to travel away from this place and lay in wait for your return. One saving grace is a small bar 50 yards from the entrance, they show how food and drink can be supplied.

Stayed 2 weeks in hotel with 2 year old child. Fantastic pool. Although childrens pool was not the cleanest as men were carrying out maintenance work and left lots of debris in pool. Also small bridge seperating both pools had rubbish below it for the whole time we spent there.
This was the only complaint we had. Staff and meal times were very pleasant ant helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Drinks from the hotel were expensive. Not a lot of entertainment on during the day for kids.

Wedding day was un forgettable. Stunning location, great service and guests all enjoyed the day. A must for weddings. Website does not do it justice.

This hotel is in a stunning setting. Its in a quiet location, a car is a must. Taxi prices really add up!!! Food was excellent, but very pricey for drinks and meals.

My main gripe is the wedding service. Having got married here i can tell you i do not regret it-its easy to see why its so popular! However, be warned it is like a conveyer belt and its spoiling this place!

The wedding co oridinator may promise there are no more than two a day but in peak season there are often three. We were lucky all our needs were met as we were a huge group but smaller groups may get second best time slots, locations etc. We witnessed it first hand. Just wanted to pre warn anyone considering it as these are things i wish i knew!
