“Okay, but more a café than a restaurant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013 via mobile

We saw it on TA, and thought it must be good, as it is 3rd out of 87. The food was alright, but they had run out of what we wanted. So we had to take something similar. The chips was nice, and generally it was all okay. Unfortunately was the meat in the pie pretty dry. It was pretty windy outside, and there were noisy with traffic. The staff were friendly, and we got the service needed. It had a very english cafe/diner lookou're in Cuprus but you eat english food... It's something wrong about that. Well, all in all, it's okay, but I don't get why it has such a high rating...

“Is this a top 5 restaurant”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

How is it possible that this restaurant is rated as a top 5? is it just a top five for Brits? Unbelievable, must be the worst food we tried there, food was inedible and staff were rude. Don't know if that is because we were not British though...

“Not great but...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

Like most, had seen the reviews on TA, so had this on my top ten list of restaurants to visit.

Firstly, the location is quite good, you can see the sea, but only when you're sat at the back of the restaurant, which for me is not ideal, the seats overlooking the main road were better, as you could people watch, and watch life go by. The problem here was that it was quite windy, so they had pulled down a clear plastic sheet, which was dirty, so couldn't see much. It had a feel of a cafe, more like a cheap and cheerful restaurant rather than anything else.

Food was 'okay' but there had been a problem with the gas, so we had downed a bottle of red (two of us) by the time the starters came. Frustrating because we had the potato skins, which had virtually no cheese/topping, which seemed to be odd, as that's not what I would call an expensive thing to do, add some cheese!, so seemed a little cheap. My wife and mother had the beef and chicken fajitas which they enjoyed a lot. I had a cheeseburger, and found it a little tasteless, but again, not sure how much of this was down to the problems they had with the gas/cooking.

Just a note that the owner did come over the explain the menus were not up to date, and was a genuine chap when we chatted.

Overall a fairly okay place to eat, but could do with a facelift, update in menus (wine selected wasn't available) and overall wouldn't be in my top twenty restaurants.
