My Wife and I recently treated ourselves to the El Palasiet for our anniversary. Having stayed at the nearby Sidisaler in Valencia, we were a little anxious. We were NOT disappointed! The service was just perfect. Upon arrival our room was upgraded (even though we did have a difficult time with the room location) however this was minor. And with some very minor missteps at Breakfast, we truly felt pampered. Prices are reasonable, but, when you feel you are treated with superior service in a beautiful environment it is a little easier to hand over the credit card. we would definitely return.

We stayed in the hotel when visiting the festival in July. The level of service was very good, and the hotel itself was very nice. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The food was OK, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend the full board deal. It was, however, nice and relaxing for July in Spain.

We stayed at this hotel for only two nights, and on our first day I couldn't believe how relaxing it was. We lay by the amazing pool, believing we had forund the perfect place to relax......
We had attended a wedding at the hotel - which was amazing! cannot fault the hotel or staff as they made the wedding very special and as our room was above the venue, we expected some noise that evening.
However we were not warned about the childrens party that would take place the next day - with two bouncy castles set up right next to our balcony! this made it impossible to sit outside our room, or even open the door for the whole day! ... this was not the relaxing day we had planned.
I also have to comment on the most uncomfortable beds I think I have ever stayed in! along with the fact that the aircon was so bad it felt like the heating was on, it began to feel like torture! and we even considered getting up a 4am to check out and go directly to the airport - as it may have been more comfortable!
Now this is an amazing hotel, but it is not cheap, so why can they not go the extra mile and invest in comfortable beds and an efficient air con that would make the hotel perfect!

The Palasiet is a special place. It is so beautiful and so peaceful. It was the perfect place for us. We were looking for a Mediterranean hotel where we could relax and "be healthy". The Palasiet brought that to us and much more. We enjoyed the food which was delicious and very healthy; the massages and spa treatments were fantastic; and our room had the most fabulous and romantic view. The hotel is on a property in the mountains and goes all the way down to the sea, with beautiful gardens and terraces. It is a quiet place and is perfect for reading and relaxing. We loved it and we are planning to go back soon!

The hotel was exactly as in the photographs. Our room was perfect with a lovely view of the sea and beach. The food was really good and we struggled not to eat too much. The staff were very kind, a couple of them spoke perfect english and the others would help us with our limited spanish. The amenities were great, the indoor pool was very warm like a bath. We didn't have any treatments but just used the gym and pools.

The hotel lent us bicycles to explore Benicassim and there are cycle routes all around the town and up to the next town also, so that was fun. We didn't see any sights as we just wanted to veg out. The town was very quiet. No one on the beach much.

We would definitely return another year.

Went to Valencia for a short weekend break then caught the train up to Benicassim (holiday hideaway for the affluent Spanish) to visit friends. On their recommendation stayed at the Palasiet in a suite for €180 per night. Just short of 5 star with separate lounge, balcony and the most fantastic views. Staff friendly and helpful despite very little English spoken in the whole resort we got by on nothing more than a smile. It was Off season so the resort was very quiet and siesta means everything closed from 2-4pm. The beach is great and was almost empty for miles despite the temp being 37deg C! In the hotel itself we had two outdoor pools to choose from but the main one was perfect with the same fantastic views that we had from the room. The spa is a genuine health spa with a wide variety of quality treatments at reasonable prices. The treatments are very thorough. Clientele tends to be older (even ancient) but we were there to chill out and we could not have found a better place to do so. Didnt eat in the hotel apart from the buffet breakfast (learn how to say COLD milk) because the local restaraunts (that were open) were good. Will definitely be back.
