People that work in Yiannaki hotel really understand what hotels have to offer and what tourists really need!! The hotel is extra clean, personnel is the kindest you have ever seen and the location is a 5 minute walk to the best beach of Mykonos (and I have seen all). The best value for money hotel I have seen in the island in the 15 years i visit Mykonos!!!

We have just returned home from a weeks stay at Yiannaki and can honestly say we cannot fault it.We were picked up (and dropped back) to the airport by the hotel for no extra charge, and from the moment we stepped in the hotel every effort was made to ensure we had a wonderful stay.
We had a balcony room over looking the pool. It was a reasonable size, spotlessly clean and with all the expected amenities- and the bed was comfy too!!
We had breakfast included and it was simple but just what you need- eggs, bacon sausage, cereal, toast, pastries, fruit, yoghurt etc. and you can help yourself to as much as you like.
The restaurent was lovely, we ate there twice! The staff are very helpful and friendly and treated us to complimentary drinks and desserts.
The pool is lovely (if a little cold), and it was never over crowded- no need to get up early to jump on the sun loungers!
Right outside the hotel is a bus stop where you can go to town (1.60 one way) and from there to the surrounding beaches. A lot of reviews said to hire a bike or quad but we found the buses easy, cheap and regular enough.
The hotel is in a great location, 5 mins walk from Ornos beach (gorgeous), 10 mins bus ride from Mykonos Town.
But mostly we would just like to thank the wonderful staff who made our stay relaxing and fun :)

I spent a week here with my wife and have nothing but good things to say about this hotel.
The hotel is decorated in the white and blue colours typical in the Greek isles and the rooms themselves are more than satisfactory. Aleka's restaurant provides a good breakfast (part of our room price) and the hotel is no more than 5 mins to to Ornos Beach or the bus stop (i would advise taking taxis as the one time we waited for the bus it was 20 mins late!).

The staff though are what make this place extra special, from the minute we arrived (a 5 min induction to Mykonos Island and Ornos area) through to the time we left (Stavroula sorting out our transfer to the Airport via the shuttle bus co) we were looked after like i have never been in any hotel. These guys work long hours but they're always on hand for any questions, advice, booking taxis or reservations. If we are ever back in Mykonos then we're staying at the Yiannaki .. I wish the hotel and the staff who work there every success ...

Our room was very clean with garden view although we were offered pool view the staff insisted it was a bigger room. First hotel we have stayed in that has has two chairs in fact it has 3 plus two on the balcony. The balcony is ideal for a cool beer on a sunny afternoon. The bathroom was an unusual shape was kept clean by the house staff during our 3 day visit. The restaurant serves decent pizza enough for 2 but the house red is only satisfactory. The staff are very efficient and most helpful. The pool is a decent size with plenty of furniture for all guests. The Ornos beach is crowded and the other beach is mainly for air sports don't swim there. The walk to Mykonos is about 45 min around the coast and take the shortcut path in the last 200 m to the windmills. Take the bus back and get off at the second stop and walk to Yiannaki hotel just 2 min via the edge of the pool by following the white capped stone wall. We ate at the restaurant and had the lamb and the saga maki prawn. The lamb was tender but the prawn overlooked and therefore not tasty enough for €12 price tag and it had no vegies. There is no jug in the room for making tea or coffee. Convenience store is located near Ornos beach.

After travelling from Santorini, we wanted a different experience from Mykonos. This, we certainly got. Mykonos is a lively island. Ornos is a short bus ride, or a 30 minute walk from Mykonos town. It is a small village with a very pleasant beach, supermarket, some nice beach side restaurants and of course, Yiannaki hotel.

The hotel is extremely well priced. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet is great to eat by the pool. The pool itself is a salt water pool, is a great size and the surroundings are very relaxing. The poolside bar and restaurant have a fantastic food and drinks menu.

The main reason I rate this hotel so highly is the high quality of the staff. They work long hours, have a great rapport with guests, are very knowledgeable about activities and the area, and genuinely make you feel like a valued guest. We were very grateful for their assistance during our stay!

For a holiday where you want to put your feet up and enjoy some sunshine, I would highly recommend Ornos and Yiannaki Hotel without hesitation. Enjoy!

This was one of the hotel best experiences I have had in years. The owner made our stay very special and he 100% follows through on his motto, "Come as a guest, leave as a friend". The staff were all friendly and made sure we maximized our time there. Our group went to Athens, Mykonos and Santori and the restaurant in this hotel bar far also had the best authentic Greek food of all the places we ate. Make sure you get the moussaka!

Just came back from the Yiannaki Hotel in Ornos, Mykonos. Only good things to say about this hotel. The room was very clean and spacious with a nice balcony. Customer service at the hotel was tops. The Aleka restaurant was amazing, we had lunch and dinner there almost everyday. Salt water pool is also nice. 2 minute walk to Ornos beach. Very peaceful and relaxing hotel.
