“Still top of the taste”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

Food Type: Bangali
Price: Reasonable
Environment: Clean compared to regular to restaurants around
Varieties: A Lot
Serving time: Fast

This restaurant is ages old, and continued to serve one of the best local food. The service was fast. Amount is plenty. The use of spices are being regulated so that people from different areas can enjoy the food. The food is fresh and and amazing taste. The downside is it is a little far from new tourist area of Cox's Bazar. For three persons the total cost was less than $10.

“Best Bangladeshi Food in Cox”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

It's always busy here because they have the best food in Cox Bazar.

The food arrives fast, tastes great, plenty of options, and the service is, like all places in Bangladesh, very friendly.

“Good food at Cox's Bazaar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

the second restaurant at cox's bazaar where i found myself satisfied after having lunch. food was very good and the environment was better than Jhauban (my opinion only). you will get all kinds of fish , meat nd veg over there. the price is also good. So, you can try at-least.

“Busy and Reasonable Local Food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

If one is to judge the restaurant by the crowd, then this restaurant must be good, as it was teeming with customers. It serves primarily local food with passable french fries. The hotel is located at the same road and close to the old Hotel Sayman. The service is friendly and although it is busy, food (which are pre-cooked) arrives pretty fast.

At the given price, the helpings of shrimps (which are actually large prawns, are very fresh) and pomfret is quite generous, so is the pulao at just Taka 50. The food taste OK, but I wouldn't say very good. However, at the price, it is of good value. If you are around, it is OK to drop in and try once.
