My wife and I dove yesterday with Cabrits. Service was casual but experienced with DM Fabian who lead 3 advanced divers, 1 intermediate and 1 novice while a small group of snorklers were entertained in the nearby shallow water. Both sites were conducive for both divers and snorks. Both dives were 50-70 ft reef dives, one steep, one sloped for good dive plans. Great barrel coral with large numbers of small fish, crabs, lobster and shrimp with excellent vis of 50 ft and 81 temp. Dive boat was comfortable but primarily a fishing boat with no rear deck and challenging but strong vertical ladder. Crew aided in exit/entry. Only complaint and my personal opinion, DM should not leave water with divers still under water. On the second dive DM accompanied novice out of water and into boat leaving remaining 4 divers beginning safety stop. This was the first time we've ever had a DM get out of the water before all divers were aboard. While all four of us were experienced and comfortable in the situation we believe the margin of safety was compromised. Overall the experience was very good and we would recommend Cabrits and diving northern Dominica.
