“Excellent,charming,spotless!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2012

We stayed here one night in May 2012, and loved it..they have retained all the old 19th-century character, but also added the important 21st century items..our room(garden-view) had a fabulous wet-room/large shower, and the breakfast was really good..not the standard croissant+coffee.
It's on a quiet side-street, so we got a great sleep, and used the 'pool-"refreshing"!
We would definitely go out of our way to stay here again..what a find!

Room Tip: The garden-view room at the back was charming, and good value at e105.

it is classified as a B and B but is a classic mansion with a walled garden, a pool, a library and the
Flawless, personal service expected in a five star hotel! the breakfast breads(even the jam ) are home made by the hosts Carlo and Sergio. it is an extraordinary bargain at the price and the hosts are most welcoming, and interested in the comfort of their guests.

Room Tip: they are individually decorated with beautiful antiques. Take your pick!

Old World charm and modern comfort blend to make Les Buis an unforgetable experience for the traveller in this gateway to the French Pyrenees. The hosts, Carlos and Sergio, pamper you with, among other things, their signature breakfasts.

We stumbeld on Les Buis at the end of the first day of a ten-day road trip in France. What a delightful find!
Carlos and Sergio were the perfect hosts and our room was big, comfortable and full of charm. There were welcoming chocolates and even a miniature bottle of muscatel. And Carlos was very helpful with advice on local restaurants.
Next morning we were treated to the most elegant breakfast on the terrace overlooking the back garden - a choice of teas, home-made fig jam, fruit in whipped yoghurt, cheeses & hams, all topped off with a slice of sweet chocolate pie! .
A gem at the gateway to the Pyrenees. Thoroughly recommended.

We are a couple in the early thirties. We stayed two nights in this B&B and loved it. The home, garden and pool are absolutely beautiful; our room was well decorated and very comfortable. What sets this apart from other B&Bs "de charme" is the host's minutious attention to details - e.g. chocolate and candy left on bedside table each day - discretion and courtesy. The highlight, however, were the copious breakfasts served on the terrace which were divine in every way. Carlos, the host, said he aimed to give his clients "l'embarras du choix", ie. too much to choose from, which we thought was indeed a nice problem to have!
The village is charming and a perfect spot to explore the coast and mountains. We recommend visiting les Orgues right next to the village, and the Château de Castelnou.
