My husband and I stayed five nights at Les Seraphins in June. The house dates back several hundred years and has been in the proprietor's (Thierry) family for generations. Thierry has done a great job renovating and creating the b&b. We stayed in the front upstairs bedroom (can't remember its name). It is a large airy room with nice windows for light and breeze. The room is furnished with very nice antique family furniture and comfortable bed. The bath is large and nicely updated. Being on the front of the house, the room is a little noisy at night, as we were warned by Thierry upon checking in, but Valff is a small town and it settles down early, so noise was not a problem for us. Thierry is a warm and friendly host. He offers dinner several nights a week, all prepared by him. We ate his meals twice during our stay and they were exceptional both times. They are reasonably priced. Valff is in a good central location to tour the wine route, Obernai, Colmar, Strasbourg, and many other popular sites in Alsace. Thierry is very helpful and strives to make your stay enjoyable. We would stay there again if ever in the area, and recommend it to other travelers looking for a comfortable, clean, well priced b&b in Alsace.
