“Pleasure at the end of the road”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

this was difficult to find and you would need a car but Giuseppe, our host could not have been more helpful. He was very accommodating, and patient with our very limited Italian as we conversed through his computer translation program. he made dinner reservations that proved to be an excellent choice, walked us through directions to a food market and other locations in the town. Excellent view and the beautiful pool area should soon be ready. We hated to leave even after extending our stay to a second night.

Room Tip: we had room 4, a spacious suite with a nice view. It does seem that higher numbered rooms would hav...

We came to Formia for almost three weeks for work. Based on seeing guests come and go quite regularly, it seems we were more "longer term" term guests than normal. For the entire 3 weeks that we were here, we could not have asked for more. Pepe (the host) is exceptionally warm and welcoming and met every request we asked, including special requests for breakfast, giving restaurant advice, doing our washing, and even helping us resolve a very difficult issue with customs.

The actual apartments in the B & B are lovely - modern and spacious with everything you need. The location of the B and B is very secluded, so it is very quiet, but still only 5 minutes from the town, and 10 minutes from the beach. The first day we arrived it was raining, so it wasn't until the sun came out the next day that we saw the amazing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and ocean. It really is just beautiful. If you want to get away from it all and be revitalised this would be a grab place to come. We didn't realised the place was so secluded when we booked it. However it has proved to be a welcome escape after each days work. Wifi is provided, so if you are needing to get work done it is no problem. Additionally there is a beautiful pool overlooking the stunning vista - if the weather had have warmed up a little sooner we would have been in it every day!

Overall, we could not recommend this highly enough. If you are after a romantic getaway, or just some time out to take in nature away from the chaos of Rome and Napoli, this place is it.

A stunning B & B and warm service with a huge smile!

Room Tip: Some rooms have a small kitchenette which is a great addition if you wanted to cook for yourself.

How sad that we only had a one night stay here, the B&B is a beautiful country retreat up high in the hills above Itri amongst the olive groves with views to the coast.
There was just one difficulty and that was finding it - the road name was not recognised by our sat-nav and it was pouring with rain (just before Easter 2013). However the citizens of Itri came up trumps! The barbers and passers by came up with directions, phoned the B&B, arranged a meeting place then drove before us to meet up with Guiseppe the host who guided us to the building. He is charming, all communication by online translation but with a real sense if humour.
The room was new, spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast is delivered on a tray in the morning. Dont expect 24 hour service, you get booked in, you get breakfast in the morning and in between you are left to chill out. Nothing wrong with that.
The sun came out the next morning, the views and surrounding countryside beautiful and they were building a pool on the hillside when we were there so it can only get better.

Room Tip: A few rooms have another building in front of the view to the hills.

Highly recommendable place to stay if you look for an accomodation in quiet and natural surroundings with beautiful views! All facilities are new and super clean. The rooms have high-quality standard and bright colours throughout.... much more than you'd expect from a B&B! The host really cares and does everything to make you feel welcome and at home. The swimming pool will soon going to be finished - it overlooks the slopes to the sea and will add to the overall excellent impression! Great job they are doing there :-)

This is a wonderfully secluded property up in the mountains with spectacular views from the terrace in the mornings - perfect for an outdoor breakfast! Very friendly host - even guided us down to a restaurant in the village on the first night so that he made sure we had somewhere to eat. Easy access to some lovely beaches at Sperlonga and Gaeta, would thoroughly recommend it. Don't be put off when you pull into the car park which is down the end of a very rough unmade track (but our cheap hire car negotiated it without a problem) - Guiseppe is doing up the house next door so it looks like a building site at the moment, but the guest accommodation is lovely!

My girlfriend and I have spent our weekend in mid September in this B&B. We have chosen this area to be away from the most expensive and noisy Sperlonga, while being able to access all the areas around by a short car ride.
Right from the start I had been extremely pleased by the comprehensive website pictures and information as well as by the easiness of the on-line availability check and reservation process.
Arrived in the place we have found an extremely new stylish complex which beautifully fits with the territory. In addition, we have been rewarded with a magnificent view of the sea. The owners have been extremely friendly and professional, showing care for our possible needs. We have accessed the room through a corridor beautifully sided by hill rocks and entered our room which proved to have all the needed things to make our stay pleasant. Very clean and new in relaxing colors, the matrimonial bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom is spacious (shower no bathtub as it is the case in B&Bs) with hair dryer and a fine set of towels. The room itself has plenty of space, a TV, air conditioning and even a minibar! Furthermore, each room has a small terrace and, since breakfast is served in your room, you can have the (rich) breakfast outside still hidden from the view of other guests. All in all our experience has been excellent and, in case we get back to the area, we will surely consider going back to "Collina degli Ulivi"

I have stayed here twice and both times had a relaxing stay at this B&B. The owners are welcoming and kind. Breakfast is served in your bedroom in the morning and each cottage looks down onto the sea. The remote location keeps you away from the hustle and bustle in the city. This is a great place to return to.
