“Holiday Nirvana if you have young kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2009

What a wonderful experience for both parents and kids alike. Our kids are 6, 3 and 2 and had a magical time. Although they have never been inside a creche they skipped off there every day. Total bliss. We couldn't leave without re-booking for next year. Tracey & Stuart have created a winning formula here.

“simply the best way to have a fun, relaxing holiday with young children!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2009

Country Kids has got holidaying with with young kids spot on - which in turn makes for a truly relaxing time for mums & dads. Travel aside, all the hassles of taking your kids on holiday are removed by the well-thought-out and incredibly well kitted out appartments (pretty much any child/baby related item you could think of including toys, books, games and a big DVD library!). The set up is stunning, the vibe laid-back and the atmosphere like holidaying with old friends. Although the appartments are self-catering (and amazingly well equipped) mums don't really have to do much shopping or cooking; between the goody box provided and the catered meals included you can get away with barely lifting a finger in the kitchen!
The kids club is a hands down winner and the "drop-in" nature is much nicer than having to pre-book sessions or half days. It's there when you want it for however long you want it.
The staff (though they feel more like old pals than "staff") are fantastic; so friendly, incredibly helpful and always on hand for a delicious coffee or a cold beer!

“The Best Family Holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2009

We stayed at Country Kids in June and had prepared ourselves for disappointment as it surely couldn't live up to the reviews - imagine our happiness when our expectations were surpassed ! We travelled with two toddlers (one year old and two and a half year old) and actually got to sit and read by the pool. The children loved the creche and asked to go there to play - as a result of that and all the other activities on site (pool, trampolines, playgound etc) they went to bed exhausted and happy every night. The welcome from Tracey, Stuart and family is fantastic and they couldn't be more helpful.

The only problem with the place is that you won't want to holiday anywhere else - hence we have booked to go back next year. Can't recommend the place more highly !

“I can't believe it gets any better than this for the parents or the children”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2009

This place genuinely does what it says on the tin. It is a fantastic holiday for the children (ours are 4 and 2) with lots to do on and off site - feeding the animals and looking for eggs every morning, pony riding (as one of the off site activities included in the package), messing around in the pool or on one of the trampolines and a great creche which they genuinely loved and which you can dip in and out of as you like. For adults there are activities (the horse riding is very good for any standard) or simply lying by the pool relaxing and reading books. The quality of service (although it never feels like service) is exceptional with Tracey, Stuart and the rest of the team making it feel more like staying with friends (who do everything for you!) than a hotel type experience. We've been twice now and have booked again for next year. I genuinely can't think why we would go anywhere else with young children.

“lovely”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2009

this was our second trip to country kids. this time we invited other members of our family to come with us. tracey took care of everything you could possibly think of. we were in the largest apartment. it was well maintained. however one of the bedrooms was a bit damp. the grounds are beautiful and there is plenty to do on site for both children and adults. they seemed quite private and there was a code on the gate to get in. we didn't do the activities this year due to illness but have previously done kayaking and tree top adventure. we enjoyed both of these. on site we did tennis, swimming, badminton, wine tasting, yoga, used the gym and table tennis. i had a massage booked with the beauty salon girl that came- very good. the creche was good but i didn't feel it was as good as the staffing last year. the meals provided were excellent. the recommendations for restaurants were good, particularly Mimosa. if you want a holiday where you feel you can sit back and relax and everything is taken care of - this is the place!
