This is a high quality B&B in a residential development. The interior is of a high quality and the room I stayed in was well furnished, clean and featured many facilities - towels, tv, radio, hairdryer, refreshments, toiletries etc.

There is an efficient system for ordering breakfast, and the cooked breakfast I had was very creditable.

The proprietors (I think Karen & Paul) were friendly and accomodating.

If I could make one observation (which is not a criticism) I think that if anything, the adornments and details which they have at Abbey House are if anything, a little too much. I'm not certain the complimentary demi of wine is necessary, or the absoultely packed toiletries basket. I don't think I have ever needed a sewing kit in a hotel, and supplying a toothbrush and two types of soap seems excessive. I would rather they scaled back these things and added (albeit slightly) to their margin.
