““Feel like home””
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

We (4 of us) stayed one night in this B&B and we were very pleased. The place is situated in the hilly countryside about 4km from Noli and about 2km from the highway exit Spotorno. The area is relaxing and quiet, with a beautiful landscape and lots of olive trees. It’s a good location for who love hiking and cycling – and it is not far from the sea side.

The two rooms were simple, nicely decorated and very clean. Our shared bathroom was spacey, clean and with a well-functioning shower. Monica and Antonio showed us a great hospitality and made us feel like at home. They took time to give us some recommendations for walking, restaurants and exchanging our experiences. It was almost like visiting friends and that’s the benefit of B&B. The breakfast room was particularly cozy. In the morning Monica prepared & served us fresh Italian coffee, Tea, warm Italian pastries, toasts and more.

We all enjoyed our stay in this little B&B and would have no hesitation to go back there again.

This b&b is heaven!
Everything is decorated with taste, squeaky clean and also, with an eye to sustanaibility.
The b&b is located on the hills of Tosse, far from noise and mess. You'll need a car to get there but it's completely worth it.
A special mention to breakfast: cakes are made by Monica and are organic and great, and ifnyou have allergies or sensitivities she will happiliy accomodate you. I will go back for sure!

We stayed one night at Monica and Antonio's wonderful little B&B. It was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The owner's artistic sense and good taste are evident throughout this little stone house and it's sweet garden.

Breakfast is served in a kitchen/sitting room or outside on nice days. Monica and Antonio were perfect hosts - available when we needed them, but not the least bit intrusive. The B&B is high in the hills, set among olive groves, but Spotorno and Noli are a short drive away. Ca de' Badin is absolutely quiet and peaceful and would be a perfect place to stay to get away from the chaos of nearby seaside towns in summer months.

The kitchen is equipped with a full refrigerator, and although Italian law does not permit guests cooking in a B&B, prepared foods, picnic supplies and drinks can be stored here, a great convenience for folks who are on the road.

This is a great little hideaway that I hope to return to someday.

This was our first trip to Italy, and needed a place to stay between Marseilles and Florence. The reviews of this place looked nice, even though it wasn't on the beach. In short, we weren't disappointed. It's a great combination of being both easy to get to and utterly off the beaten track, at the end of a string of old houses perched on a hillside looking toward the Mediterranean. It would probably be good to have a car, as this is not walking distance from anything (A Good Thing, in my book). The inside has been modernized, but is very clean, unfussy, and charming. Monica was a great host, and despite her somewhat less-than-fluent English we were easily able to communicate. Noli is a short drive down the mountain, and Monica's restaurant recommendation (Bucun du Preve) was superb. The capper was the homemade limoncello waiting for us on our return.

The only thing that keeps me from giving this the last star was breakfast - good coffee, but individually-wrapped grocery-store pastry. Still, though, I would eagerly stay here again, and would recommend it to friends. We also found it to be a very good value for the price.

This is the true Liguria, the one Eugenio Montale wrote about in his poetry. A Liguria of sea and hills, tall grass amidst olive groves, stone villages and terraced vineyards precariously perched on steep slopes. And utter silence, broken only by birdsong.

Just ten minutes' drive from Noli, one of the most charming seaside villages in the region, with beautiful beaches, good food and a wonderfully laid-back atmosphere, this tastefully renovated house is the first of a handful in a picturesque 17th-century hamlet. Evenings here are cool even in high summer, and can be passed sipping homemade limoncello on the terrace with the proprietors, who are forthcoming without being invasive.

A good deal of love and care has been devoted to the renovation: the rooms are warm and welcoming but not indulgent, and the big live-in kitchen extends into the greenery in fair weather. Prices are very reasonable, and the feeling is that of staying with friends. We look forward to returning in winter, when the high-pressure systems move in bringing bright blue skies and crisp, cool temperatures, ideal for exploring the environs on foot.
