We just returned from two nights at Seasons B and B. We plan to return in the fall. It is in an ideal location - you can walk around town and is a short drive to Big Creek Conservation area and Long Point. We kayaked and enjoyed bird watching. We found Sharon and John's home very comfortable with everything you need and more... fridge and microwave downstairs, all rooms with en suites, very comfortable bed, lots of hot water and good water pressure, quiet and private rooms, delicious breakfasts including Sharon's special fruit salad and "sweets".

Room Tip: We had room three - overlooks the garden - was small but exactly what we needed and an excellent pri...

Thanks, John and Sharon, for your great hosting of our stay while visiting from Alberta for a week. We came in hopes of finding spring migrant birds on the near-by Longpoint peninsula. We flew into Hamilton and stayed the first night on our three-destination circuit from Longpoint to Rondeau to Point Pelee and back. On the way back we stayed an additional two nights taking advantage of Sharon's wonderful breakfast with the fruit salad that drains your salivary glands. If you're nice, she might even share her secret to making it the best breakfast specialty I've come across. The rooms are great. We were two birding guys so got the room with two singles. Nice to have an ensuite. Sure, visit Sharon and John. They're nice people in a nice town where there is nice birding to be had in the spring ... second or third week in May.

Excellent and helpful hosts and fantastic food! We loved staying here for the weekend.

John and Sharon really know the area and can offer really good tips for getting the most out of your stay in Port Rowan.

We chose this Port Rowan B&B because it had en suite bathrooms for all the rooms and for its convenience being within walking distance from the local Boathouse restaurant . We also noted the near 'excellent" ratings on Tripadvisor for all its reviews. We have found that we fully share the opinions of these reviews ! We had the "Lighthouse room" at the end of the house and found it to be cozy and spotlessly clean. The King sized bed was incredibly comfortable. The en suite bathroom came with thick luscious towels as well as soap in dispensers as well as bars. Everything was in working order. The room also had a patio-type sliding door that opened up to a little deck but without steps down - this meant we could have the door slightly open at night and did not need to use the air conditioning or the ceiling fan.
We made full use of the patio and had a glass of wine there before walking to the waterfront restaurant. We also admired the garden in the morning before breakfast.
Breakfast was served by our hosts in the large living/dining room. A delicate fruit salad followed by a full hot breakfast, home fries delicately seasoned with rosemary and thyme, scrambled eggs, bacon and little cornbread 'French toast' squares dusted with icing sugar. Toast made with real good quality bread, coffee and juice on the side.
Before leaving John gave us detailed directions - as he had done the day before - and this ensured that we took the scenic route - and not the highway - between Port Rowan and Port Dover. Don't miss the ice cream shop or the "antique" shop if you are in this charming town. We came away with some amazing finds - but the best "find' was no doubt "Season's house" !

Room Tip: We also saw the Secord room which is quite a bit larger than the Lighthouse room and has a small fri...

We were travelling to Long Point for the beach for a couple of days using our motorcycles and found Seasons B&B via the internet. Sharon & John are most accommodating, and demonstrate the fine art of hospitality to a perfect science. All the rooms at the inn have ensuites, the place is immaculately clean, and Sharon's creative skill in breakfast catering was a delight. John was a wonderful host who gave us an interesting tour of the house and it's history. The Southern style veranda with it's ceiling fans, whicker furniture and greenery is a joy to relax on of an evening.
Highly reccommended.....we will be back! Simon & Sue

Room Tip: The whole house is air-conditioned....beds are very comfortable. We stayed in the Lighthouse Room...

We found Seasons House on the Internet and were happy to find it lived up to the reviews and it's website. Hosts Sharon and John are friendly and offer lots of information on the area. We stayed in the Secord Suite- beautiful, clean abd with it's own patio! The breakfasts were delicious, with Sharpn willing to accommodate your preferences . A great way to begin our vacation.

We were on our 'jaunt' around Ontario and were picking B&Bs as we went along for night stays, and found this gem.

Both of the hosts were wonderful to talk to and ran the place lovely, kept well clean, with nice rooms and really comfy bed.

They even gave us the name of a good palce to eat at night.
