“relaxing with a superb location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2011

We stayed in the Colleton room which was superb and very private.
Food is superb and the team of chefs, waiters and bar staff are very professional.
Front of house are very accommodating and very patient with their customers.
Cleanliness of the rooms was excellent.

Some of the entertainment was very good except for one guy who was boring!
A little light background music at night in the restaurant would be pleasant.

This resort defines the defination of "Boutique Hotels" especially for the Caribbean. The gardens which surround the entire resort are amazing and allow guests total privacy even with open air guestrooms. The food is exceptional on a daily basis with no critisism that comes to mind.. A return visit will be planned for sure!!!

Room Tip: Seafood lovers will be happier than ever....

My husband and I stayed at Cobblers Cove early december 2010 and it was idealic. The garden suites were large with a lovely verander and so quiet except for the birds twittering.
I would reccommend to couples as it is perfect for peace and quiet.
The food from breakfast to dinner was first class and the service exceptional.
We will definately return.

We stayed here, having being delayed by the snow cancellation of our flight to Gatwick, and having stayed at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion the previous week.
This was fantastic and was better in many ways than the FRP but not quite up to it in other ways ( but at much lower price than the FRP).
PLUS
1. The food was out of this world - much better than the FRP, Tides,The Beach House, Lone Star, etc
2. The staff were lovely and seemed more genuinely friendly.
3. The management were great and allowed us to check out at 6pm.
MINUS
1. Limited sun beds and very cramped area, and those that were there were "bagged" hours before they were needed - need to address this.
2. Mosquitoes - I got badly bitten. Clearly the gardens are not sprayed regularly as they should be ( I asked about this before we checked in) and mosquito coils are useless especially when there is a sign which says that there is a very sensitive smoke alarm in the bedroom!

We just returned from a blissful week at Cobbler's Cove. As others said, you are greeted warmly with a cold towel and a delicious rum punch. That high level of service continued throughout our visit - from the reception staff, the guys who take care of you at the pool and beach, bartenders and restaurant staff. Everyone was warm and gracious and helpful. Our suite overlooked the garden, which we actually preferred as it was more private. Some might not like the lack of TV or lack of airconditioning in the living room part of the suite - but we liked the fact that you could open the French doors and be outdoors and indoors at the same time and did not miss the TV (went to the TV room once). The beach and pool are small but adequate given the small size of the resort. There are lovely areas to lounge indoors and out. The food was excellent. We ended up eating at the hotel more than we thought because of the food and ambiance available right there. Fun to talk to Barker, the resident fisherman. We were two of the very few Americans - surrounding by Brits who seemed to be regular guests for long periods of time. Everything was civilized and gracious, but not in a stuffy way. We will definitely return.

Cobblers Cove is a beautiful, small, elegant resort. The food is the best we've had in the caribbean, as is the service, both in the restaurant and in general.
There is an atmosphere of quiet elegance. No blaring tvs or radios.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. A small refrigerator was useful, and we loved having 2 sinks in the bathroom, which was also spacious.
The beach is small, but nice and the swimming is great-- not much surf and the water is not too cold.
To sum up: a find.
