Description: Come to Fisherman's Pub and Grub and meet Junior (proprietor), Carolyn (partner), our friendly staff Rosalind (server), Velma (waitress) and Marva and Judith (cooks - on request!) at this family owned local restaurant (since 1937). We are located on the beach in the heart of Speightstown in the north of the island. Over the years we have served many repeat locals and visitors our tasty and affordable (at crisis prices) authentic Bajan (Barbadian) dishes, cafeteria style in a relaxed and casual setting. We can seat 80 persons indoors and 30 outdoors on the deck. Our regular business hours are Monday to Saturday 11am - 6pm. We do open on occasional Sundays and public holidays (11am - 3pm) and for dinner (from 6pm) we also offer local dishes, but please call ahead (especially for dinner as we may close early on a slow night!). We do cater to private functions (weddings, birthdays etc) on or off site, and you can also rent the Pub by the hour! Our motto. "Good food, Better prices, Best service! Get hooked on us!!"

“Great introduction to Bajan food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013 via mobile

We really enjoyed visiting this restaurant for a good way to sample some traditional Bajan dishes in a relaxed atmosphere, and without spending a fortune. The staff were very friendly and the view is fab.

“Great local food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013 via mobile

If you enjoy the bajans food this is the place to go.A good variety of food to choose from all at a very good price. Tasted like "mama makes" and the setting is good too.
Staff were so friendly and genuinely wanted you to enjoy their food.
Try it, you wont be disappointed.

“Good quick lunch spot in Speightstown”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

We have been visiting Fisherman's Pub for several years on each visit to Barbados. It's a great spot for a quick (by island standards, not North American standards) and relatively inexpensive lunch. Food is served cafeteria style and there is always a good selection during the lunch period. If you're there later in the day the selection may not be as good...but you should really be on the beach at that point anyway. The menu changes daily through the week so you can visit more than once during a trip and always find something new to try. Some of their Bajan staples such as macaroni pie, fish cakes, and pepperpot are excellent. Their baked and fried chicken are delicious as well. If you're a fish lover I would say this is not the best place for fish. If you get it when it comes right out of the kitchen it's always great...but the nature of cafeteria style food is that it sits around for a bit and fish can get overcooked, tough and dry pretty fast in that setting. Overall this is a great lunch spot that should definitely get included in your travel plans.

“Funky and fun Bajan style”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We went to this wonderful restaurant a few times and we were never disappointed. Clement and his team go out of their way to deliver great food, great service and the best rum punches on the Island! The setting is beautiful - right on the water in charming Speightstown - not flashy just fun and funky!
