“Fabulous setting; simple delicious meals; unpretentious friendly service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2012

Hard to find but worth the hunt. Roti at lunch and wonderful fish dishes for dinner. Ginger Creme Brulee is a nice finish. We will return frequently and tell all our friends about it.

“Beautiful Setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2012

This restaurant is situated right on the beach. It gets very busy at lunch times, but go at night (Wed - Sat) and you have a very atmospheric meal. Go for the local fish dishes for best value

“Disappointing- Come on man”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2011

Three tiny slices of chicken on a bed of rice-sold as Kebabs?
Tiny sliver of fish with some cold tasteless pasta- fish of the day? Easy on the salt please!!
Tuna mayo sandwich with salad which was off and had to be removed
Roti always good though, staff is obviously Guyanese. Expresso good so must know about that
Service mediocre, setting still good.
So sad to see a place that had something lose it. On to the next.

“Lovely setting!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2011

Cassareep, although hard to find was worth the visit. Right on the beach under the trees in the middle of Speightstown. We received a warm welcome. The eating area could have done with a little more thought to design and furnishings and looked a bit spartan. Srevice was fast, but then there were only a handfull of other guests.
Good choice of food on the menu, portions were certainly not over generous but food was well prepared and tasty. We only got four prawns ( they call them shrimps) in our curry .
There were three other restaurants along the beach. May not return to Cassareep but try those instead.
