The yelllow bird hotel is a lovely hotel on the very edge of st lawrence gap, idealy located for resturants all with differant flavours, mexican,brazilian,greek and local all within in 3 minutes (or less) walk from the hotel, there is a beach directly across from the hotel, you can get to this by crossing a not very busy road, having said that ,the beach is not ideal as it is very small, but just a short walk (5 mins) up the main road there are some stunning beaches, where you can hire sunloungers and parasols ( i suggest getting them from the guy nearest to the carrib beach bar, they are more comfortable) Back to the hotel, All the staff are very friendly, very polite and very helpfull, THE MAJOR DOWN SIDE TO THIS HOTEL IS THUS, although it is idealy positioned for restuarants, you have to take into account there are also bars, VERY NOISEY ONES, the music from these bars went on until 2,3 AND 4am, and the music is played on volume 11, the hotel is so close to these bars you can actually hear the songs being played, not muffled noise thats carried on the wind, this is the only problem with this hotel, every other aspect of it is A1, Would i stay hear again......... despite the noise, YES I WOULD, i had a great time there.
