“Join the family and have a memorable meal.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

No booking and they were very busy but they managed to fit us in. Lovely service with a great atmosphere. The local fish was spectacular but watch the price steak as it is expensive. This was an eating experience with a host of new and exciting flavours. Thoroughly recommend it and going back to sample more dishes.

“Great Service - Mediocre Food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

Tosh - who runs the restaurant, does an excellent job of service and caring for customers.

Unfortunately, our food was mediocre. It was a garlic-infused fest of various ornaments, none of which was particularly sumptuous or tasty. You might note that restaurants that don't have great food actually use garlic.

“Overall a great experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

We visited the Gap one evening and came across the Harlequin, it looked fairly busy so we gave it a try. Very warm welcome from the front of house who let us chose our table which was outside with an umbrella, it was a lovely warm evening. The waitress who I think was called Angela was amazing very attentive and friendly and explained the menu and specials. All four of us had the fish chowder and this was to die for, very chunky veg and fish. We then had separate main courses which we were all very pleased with and clean plates all round. This was followed by a great desert, some had lime pie, some had the bread pudding which was excellent, very well prepared and presented food with local ingredients. Great choice on the menu by the way with several tastes catered for, something for everyone here, I highly recommend.
