“GREAT LITTLE CAFE”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

strolling through the village we came across the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, which you could so easily miss unless you knew it was there. They do lovely hot & cold sandwiches & absolutely gorgeous carrot cake. Its just next to the Big supermarket. You have to try this little place for a coffee & a snack

“Food Poisoning”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2014

Spent £4.75 on beans on toast. Took the beans on toast back as the beans tasted tangy and could only assume they were off or bad. The lady behind the counter took the meal back to the chef and came back to us to say the beans had just been opened. Nothing more they could do apparently! I asked for a refund and to which the lady replied, "Im afraid not, you ate half of it.". I was utterly shocked and spent the rest of the day and that night feeling violently sick (as did my mother who had the same meal).

Don't waste your time or your money. The place needs reporting. Such poor customer service too.

“Good cheap sandwiches”

15$BDS for a crab salad sandwich with a lot of taste. 9$BDS for a Chai spice frappé that is so refreshing! Totally worth it!

“Great Little Coffee Shop!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2014

As a coffee fanatic, I was pleased to find this little coffee shop in Peronne Village. Even in Barbados, I enjoy my morning coffee and was able to have it here. They serve both hot and cold coffee beverages, both of which I tried. It was delicious. Service was friendly, coffee was made in a timely fashion and I recommend their baked goods as well (coconut bread and banana bread, yum!)
One of my favorite parts of the morning was walking through the beautiful Peronne Village to get my coffee. They have seating both inside and outside but I mostly got my coffee to go.
Coming back here if I return to Barbados!

“Excellent for light lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2014

This is a smaller version, of its bigger version behind The Big B Supermarket. the Hastings version has consistently good sandwhichs, desserts and good coffees. it is good value for money.
The Hastings one located by the Amaryllis Hotel is a short walk from the historic Garisson Area which also houses the excellent Barbados Museum
