“So far our best dining experience on Barbados.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014

Somehow we were not so lucky with dining out on Barbados. Some reccomded high style cuisine/fusion cuisine places appeared to be to a different extend overrated. Food at the restaraunt in our hotel was not appetising and expensive. Luckily, Tapas restaurant came as consolation for us. Located next to the strap of the beach and the south coast broadwalk, the place offers great seaviews that can be enjoyed both during the day and at night. We visited Tapas first for dinner and came back the next day for lunch.
The food was extremely delicious. My seafood risotto was one of the tastiests, I have ever tasted. The service and the ambience of the place was enjoyable. Prices also were reasonable considering the price level on the island. Would definitely reccomend this place for both lunch and dinner.

“A bit disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014

We ate here for a special meal at the end of our recent holiday in Barbados but left feeling a bit disappointed. The setting is lovely, but the food (we had 2 starters and 2 mains) was just OK. Service was friendly but very slow, it took a long time to be served a drink after we had sat down. We have eaten in far nicer restaurants for a comparable price or less. Would recommend for a snack or drink to enjoy the setting, but wouldn't bother with a complete meal.

“Great food, great view, fair price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014

There are many great restaurants in Hastings/Christ Church. This and Champers are my favorites! Just about The same quality, but Tapas is a bit more friendly priced.

A bit small tapasmenu and The sataysauce for The chicken is wrong, but thats The only things i can point out.

I considered a 4 of 5, but The staff is The best i have encountered on The Island. Polite and fun, but not intruding.
Dinned here several times! If you eat early 6 pm you might Get a good table with out reservations (except on Fridays/saturdays), but order a table on The second floor by The rail! Nice atmospher!

“It all adds up”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014

Great view, great atmosphere and really good food at a fair price. Out of a dozen places that we have dined at this is one of our favorites. Not high end gourmet but interesting and diverse choices. We had lunch while gazing out at the waves and enjoyed our tapas: meatballs, potato wedges, trio of hummus and fish that was wrapped in zucchini and pan fried. All very good! A couple of glasses of nicely chilled white wine and we were in our "happy place".

“Ambiance and GREAT FOOD!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014

This place was wonderful... we were on the upper floor facing the water ... watching the sunset drinking "Yellow Birds" ... food was awesome and each course was nicely presented and perfectly prepared!
