“middle resort, clean, family friendly, happy hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

We (5 year old daughter, my mum & me) went to this hotel back in Aug-Sept last year.
The reception is clean, modern looking & the staff in the whole hotel are lovely. Their is an English gentleman that works in reception & has done for years, so he was good to talk to about places to go etc.
We booked a superior room, then I read the reviews about taking the little lift up the hill (or you could do the dreaded stairs). Before we got there I was a little worried, but also through people are over reacting... they are not haha. BUT you do have the lift, so don't let that put you off having a superior room. The views were lovely, over the hotel, town and sea. Our room had a small but adequate kitchen, a decent size fridge/freezer, pretty bathroom & a partition to separate the bedroom from the living room/2nd bedroom, & then there was our big balcony that was sea view, this was lovely to sit out at night (& feed the cats...if you want! Mum is an animal lover so is my daughter...).
There was 3 swimming pools, each one on a different level, leading down to the street, bar & supermarket that all belonged to the hotel. The bar was modern, cool looking, with white walls, chairs and tables & a few neon lights (not in a tacky way). Lush desserts are served here, dinner wasn't bad either :) In fact, the whole of Pefkos offered great food, didn't have one bad meal. We went to Nikolas' tavern quite a few times (turn left out the hotel, walk straight for 5-10 mins), there are beautiful sunset views to be had here, but it did get VERY busy & people were even booking days in advance for a table! Back to the centre of resort, across from the hotel there was 2 restaurants offering 2 courses for about 9 euros, the meals were ok here, but pay a bit extra to try all the restaurants through Pefkos!
I was thinking about returning next year, but because I've been Rhodes 3 times now over 15 years, I think I need to find my next favourite Greek island or even mainland!
But I do love the island & this resort & hotel

Room Tip: Ask for sea view, front or 2nd block & just go for the superior rooms!

My wife and I have just returned on the 10th July from a 2 week Self Catering holiday on Rhodes. We stayed at the Pefkos Beach apartments in a studio apartment set in lovely gardens and overlooking the sea and the bay of Pefki. The complex is family owned and run to very good standards with excellent reception staff,Yannis,Ray and Andy, all willing to give you whatever help and assistance you might need to enjoy your stay on the Island. We had a great time helped very much by the people mentioned earlier and served very well by all the staff on the complex. Rhodes itself is wonderfull, and Pefkos has become another place we must and will visit again. The Greek people are warm and friendly and laid back, allowing you to really get the most out of your holiday. There are lots of different eateries, taverna's and bars to sample and you never feel pressured or pushed into doing something you don't want to do. We made lots of new friends both greek and ex pat's. Getting around is easy by bus, taxi or on foot. The local beaches are fantastic and a trip to Lindos and Rhodes Town a must. We booked a package with Thomson, but I emailed Yannis on their website to finalise details. A brilliant holiday,1 we can't wait to repeat in the future.

Room Tip: Go on their website you can see the rooms and surroundings. When you have decided email Yannis and a...

Just come home from a weeks holiday here and are already in the process of booking again for next year.
Cannot find any fault with this hotel. It was spotlessly clean, the amenities were fantastic and the staff were lovely
There are plenty of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk and there is a beautiful sandy beach nearby
Nostalgia,Terpsis and Enigma restaurants (to name a few) were brilliant
All in all a great holiday and cant wait to visit again

The hotel is really well located towards the end of the main road. Some rooms are up the hill where a lift / funicular type thing takes you half way. I'd recommend asking for a room lower down near the pool.

We were above reception and had a great sea view (which I asked for- via emailing the hotel)

Beach is 10 min max.
Main bars / square are is 5 min
They have a nice restarant with roof terrace. Great lounge bar below where we watched Murray win Wimbledon , they have screens and huge projector when it's dark but its well done not chavy.

Bar at the top is cheaper they have happy hour breakfast and drinks in evening. Kosta probably spelt incorrectly - bar man is a great guy.

It's not 5 star but its good for Greece, rooms are great, beds are fine .

Lots of families, not for the rich and famous, some good restarants locally. Few people that you look at and think "I wish you weren't from our country" but hey! Maybe they will join a gym when they get home..

Just come back from a week's stay at the hotel, what can i say , firstly i could not find one thing to mark the hotel down. Perfect location short walk to a great beach with Chrystal clear water. The hotel exceeded any expectations , spotlessly clean, great staff that could not do enough for you.Rooms cleaned daily except Sunday, towels and bed linen left in hearts and flowers for when you return.Supermarket right on hand and he stayed open for us even though he was shutting at midnight. Choice of restaurants on hand all very good and not expensive, Nostalgia sitting on the roof top was very good.Three pools which were welcomed in the heat plenty of sunbeds to be had.Great value for money Holiday and we will be booking for next year again. Many guests we spoke to come back every year so i guess that speaks for itself. The bakery up the top of the hill is a must with pastries and fresh bread to die for.Taxi rank right outside with prices displayed which were correct. Air con was extra but was worth it. What a wonderful holiday we had.

Cannot fault this hotel at all. Our room (152) was superb with a fantastic view. The location is perfect - lots of places to eat in the evenings. Also not far from the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would definitely go back!

Room Tip: Ask for a sea-view - they are worth it.
