We have been to Stella's many times and have always found it very friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel is a short and pleasant walk to the beach. The hotel offers breakfast and lunch and snacks reasonably priced. Three pools one for babies and toddlers, a second for small children and a third for those who can swim with a shallow end of about one meter.
Close by are shops, tavernas resturants and bars. You can hire a car and there is a taxi rank just across the road. There is a bus service from Pefcos to Rhodes town and to Lindos (a world heritage site). There seems to be no noticeable problems caused by the down turn in the Greek economy; to find out more by local an ouzo ot two.

Hi everyone we stayed at these apartments in Oct 2012 for 2weeks and would recommend staying here, apartments very nice with plenty of room.Bedding and towels changed on a regular basis and rooms cleaned every day.The lady in reception called Joy, who was english was very nice and helpful please go and say hello to her.The area of Pefkos has plenty of bars and places to eat and just up the hill from the apartments is a lovely little shop that sells English food and wonderful cakes yum yum.We also hired a car for 3 days and went round the island and visited the old town of Rhodes which is a must if you are into local history, you can also visit Turkey for the day . All in all holiday very nice and enjoyable.

We recently returned fron a lovely week at the Stella Hotel in Pefkos, Rhodes. The weather was perfect, around 25-28 degrees all week. The hotel was fine, rooms clean and tidy. The bed was too hard for me, but ok for a week. Only down side was the room was right by the road and could be quite noisy in the mornings. We didnt spend much time there, but the traffic noise woke us up every day!! would recommend asking for a room on the other side of the complex. The hotel had a lovely pool, very clean and while we were there, very quiet. We were there in the second week in October and the resort is starting to wind down so there is not much going on. This was fine for us but might be a little quiet for some. The beaches in Pefkos are nice, and the sea was wonderful for swimming. We found the food in the resturants a bit uninspiring, they all seemed to have the same menu! we searched in vain all week for a fish resturant! however, the prices were ok and the local beer is good. We enjoyed our week, and would probably visit again if we needed a week in the sun.

Our latest venture to Greece was to the Stella Hotel , in Pefkos , Oct 17th - 31st . Having stayed in numerous hotels / apartments in various Greek resorts on various islands , I must say this was certainly the the best . Accomodation is usually basic , but what a surprise at the Stella hotel . We have previously experienced ancient dilapidated furniture , tired decor , fixtures and fittings hanging off the walls , electric lights loose or wiring hanging out of fittings , and lots more . The Stella Hotel had none of these . The rooms were clean and decorated well with the most modern furniture we have seen in previous apartments . We had 2 rooms , the bedroom had nice wardrobes and furniture and even coat hooks on the wall , and its own balcony . The dining / kitchen / living area had 2 bed settees , a good assortment of cooking utensils and crockery . There was a 2 ring hob , fridge , toaster , microwave and kettle , and the room also had a balcony . Both rooms had an aircon unit , which if used would cost €185 for 2 weeks . There is a slight incline to the side of the hotel , but there is also access from the main road to the complex . The rooms are cleaned daily and the beds re-made , every day except Sunday . Situated where the Stella is , it is easy to get to the many bars and restaurants in Pefkos . All in all a very pleasant place to stay and would have no problems booking there again and would have no problem recommending the Stella . Just a quick mention about the Fuse Bar , on beech road , where Kiriakos ( or Jack as most people come to call him ) made us most welcome . He is a real character , as is his father who did the cooking at the free barby on our last night . The only very minor gripe is that at the end of October , you will see bars and restaurants closing gradually as the season comes to a close , but having said this , we had no difficulty finding places to dine , and the supermarket at the top of the hill is open all year round
