The is the last restaurant in Switzerland (it's only a few hundred metres from the French border...) but one of the first for quality.
Stumbled into it one cold November night in the down season, and it was one of the few places open. Quiet, but really good food.
The menu concentrated on game (it was the hunting season...) and I had a delicious, extremely well-cooked and presented plate of mountain pig. The dish managed to be rustic but elegant at the same time. Don't remember the pudding because I had enjoyed too much wine by then!
Service also excellent - the chap was attentive, and really cared about his wines. A real discovery, and a faultless meal. If ski-ing in this section of the Portes du Soleil it is well worth a detour...
