“Pleasant place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

I have frequented this restaurant 4 or 5 times, the most recent on my last trip to Valencia, Spain.
They specialize in Paella the tradicional rice dish of the Valencian region. The food is very good and the service is excellent. The outdoor seating overlooks a small river which empties into the
Mediterranian sea some 100 yards away.
The location is out of the way and hard to find for a foreigner traveling to Spain for the first time.
If you have Friends who can take you there it is well worth the trip.

“Lovely place - pity about the meal”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

The restaurant is about 3 miles South of Cullera off the beach road down a cul-de-sac. The location, beside an estuary, is lovely. The terrace restaurant in good weather is lovely. The restaurant inside is very well furnished and has many interesting artefacts and paintings. Unfortunately the meal did not come up to expectations. My cod "fish cake" entrée was barely warm and not flakey cod but mushed up cod. My grilled sole was very small and came with an orange sauce and nothing else. My plum pudding had never seen a plum in its short life. My wife's fillet steak was barely warm and very gristly/fatty. Our main courses came separately, so one of us had to wait 5 minutes for the other to get there main course. The wine list was the most extensive list I've ever read - and our Rioja red was superb. Overall, too expensive for the standard of meal.

“Always a pleasure”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

Every year when we visit friends near Valencia we are looking forward to have lunch ar Casa Salvador. Its terrace overlooking the water. We share starter after starter. Squid, calamares, achovies, grilled vegatables and then have to pass the main course. Service is fantastic and this year, after having to skip last year still knew the wine we had ' last time'

“authentic valencian food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2012

Beautiful surroundings, if you get the chance to have lunch at the terrace overlooking La Albufera National Parc, you'll remember this place forever. Talking about food, speechless, the best VALENCIAN PAELLAS and traditional dishes so far, esgarraet, prawns... yummy. Average price 40-50€ per person but absolutely worth it.

“Great food in amazing surroundings!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2012

Best experienced during summer when you can sit outside on the terrace overlooking the water. The restaurant is famous for their different varieties of paellas and other rice dishes but other dishes are also impressive. Extensive wine list, also great desert wines to choose from! In summer water sprays of the roof every so often which is meant to cool you down but also makes the experience of eating here complete. Lovely small secluded beach around the corner.
