“Interesting Museum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2012

The Salvador Vilasec Regional Museum is an archaeological museum. It is named after Salvador Vilaseca i Anguera (April 17,1896 – April 13, 1975), who was a historian and a very prominent doctor. His collection of archaeology is the basis of the collection of this museum. The museum shows the history of Reus from prehistory to the modern age. There are archaeological remains from prehistoric times and Roman times. There are also 16th and 17th ceramics. Other items are religious art and statues. There is also an important exhibit about Gaudi, including drawings and personal items that belonged to him. It shows the relationship between Gaudi and the city of Reus.
