By all means make a deviation to this incredible old-world workshop where pitch forks are made from trees specifically grown for making forches. There is a wonderful video which explains the entire process of making the forches and a tour of the workshop. There is a nice gift shop where you can buy different sized forks, buffados used to blow a stream air into fireplaces to get the fire going and other interesting things. The Conservatoire also has 6 gite rooms available for rent in its beautifully restored building. Be sure to check its website for hours of operation. It is really worth the time it takes to visit this very interesting Conservatoire. Have Fun!
