“Being close to nature in the middle of the city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2012

The local government of Kalibo is very proud of this nature park as it is their mangrove reforestation project that led to the establishment of this eco-park. You may just rent a tricycle anywhere in Kalibo City to take you there. What I enjoyed most in visiting that park is walking the long footbridge which are made in bamboo. For me, it is the place where you want to be if you want to experience a serene place after partying all night long in Boracay. Kalibo is not just a place where the airport to/from Boracay is located. It has this place which is really worth a visit for those who want are a little bit adventurous. If you have at least 2 hours to spare in Kalibo then this place is definitely for you.

“I ATE IT!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2012

If you head out here... make sure you try the local exotic food: Tamilok. It's a wood worm and tastes like a wet noodle. You only live once and everyone should give this a go!
