This restaurant is in a great position and has a terrace overlooking Altea and down to the sea. There is no doubt that its worth a visit just to sit on the terrace. However we found the food did not live up to the promise. We had the tapas menu which was 17.50 euros each. For this we had a small salad, some crab balls which weren't very tasty and a bit artificial, the sort of thing you might buy from the frozen food cabinet in the supermarket. We had four slices of cheese and some meatballs. The garlic prawns were disappointing, tasty but overcooked. Overall it was very poor value for money except for the wine was was very good and very reasonable. We may just have chosen badly, a young couple were eating at the same time from the main menu and their food looked good. The service was also lacking, we were charged for bread and olives which were promised but never arrived and although it was almost empty the waitress was distracted chatting in the main restaurant.
